We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family in their time of deep distress. Father God, we know that You see every tear, hear every cry, and hold every broken heart in Your hands. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, draw near to this family now—wrap them in Your comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray specifically for this young man, your beloved child. The swelling in his brain and the seizures that wrack his body are not hidden from You. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him, for You are the Great Physician who formed his inmost being. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We claim this promise over him now. Lord, if it is Your will, bring complete restoration to his mind and body. We also pray for wisdom and compassion for the medical professionals treating him—that they would see his true condition and act in his best interest, not just follow protocols that may be prolonging his suffering.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of confusion and despair that is trying to take hold of this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this family will not be overcome by fear or hopelessness. We pray for the parents especially—the mother who is weary but standing strong, and the father who is desperate for help. Strengthen them with Your might, Lord. Give them supernatural endurance and faith that does not waver. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also lift up the siblings, who are watching their brother suffer and their parents carry this heavy burden. Guard their hearts from bitterness or resentment, and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust You even when they don’t understand. May this trial draw them closer to You and to each other.
Lord, we ask for divine intervention in the legal and medical systems that are failing this family. You are the God who makes the impossible possible. We pray that doors would open for proper care and treatment, and that those in authority would recognize this young man’s inability to make decisions for himself. Give his parents the wisdom, favor, and perseverance they need to advocate for him.
Father, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Even in this heartbreaking situation, we trust that You are at work. We ask for miracles—physical healing, emotional restoration, and spiritual renewal for this entire family. May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may their faith grow deeper through this trial.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved. There is no other name that brings healing, hope, and salvation. We declare that Jesus is Lord over this situation, and we stand on His promises.
Finally, Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in this family’s life, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance and reconciliation. Your Word says in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed." May they experience the freedom and healing that comes from walking in obedience to You.
We trust You, Lord, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
