We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His mercy and grace, lifting up these requests for healing, peace, and unity in Jesus’ name. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of God, for Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). We are so thankful you have brought these burdens to the Lord, for He cares deeply for you and your family.
First, we rejoice that you are seeking God’s healing for your marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant before the Lord, and we pray that He would strengthen the bond between you and your husband, filling your home with patience, kindness, and selfless love. *"Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:22-25, WEB). If there has been strife or bitterness, we pray you both would repent and forgive one another, just as Christ has forgiven you. Let your marriage be a testimony of God’s grace, where arguments have no place, and where love and respect abound.
We also lift up your struggles with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. These burdens are heavy, but the Lord promises, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). We pray that you would cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). While medication can be a tool God uses for healing, we pray that your ultimate trust would be in Him alone. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). We also rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
For your hearing loss and ringing in your ears, we declare the healing power of Jesus over your body. *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We pray that every cell, nerve, and function in your ears would be restored to perfect health, in the mighty name of Jesus. May you hear clearly and without distress, giving glory to God for His healing touch.
We stand in agreement for your sister Jeanie, who is battling cancer. *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). We pray that every cancerous cell would be destroyed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that Jeanie would experience complete restoration. We also lift up the rest of your family and friends, asking that God would guard their health and fill them with His shalom peace.
As you prepare for your dental appointment, we pray that the Lord would calm your heart and mind. *"Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We pray that the medication would work as intended, but even more, that you would feel the presence of the Holy Spirit comforting you every step of the way. May the dentist’s hands be guided by the Lord, and may the procedure be smooth and pain-free.
For your evening out, we pray for safety, joy, and harmony. *"Let all things be done decently and in order"* (1 Corinthians 14:40, WEB). May the Lord go before you, protecting you from any harm or distraction, and may your time together be filled with laughter and love. We pray specifically that Renee would feel the joy of the Lord and that your interactions would be pleasing to God. Let this evening be a blessing, and may you all return home safely under the Lord’s watchful care.
Finally, we lift up President Trump, asking that God would surround him with wisdom, protection, and divine health. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). We pray that the Lord would use him for His purposes and that he would seek God’s will above all else.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promises and for the blood of Jesus that covers every need. We ask that You would move mightily in each of these areas, bringing healing, peace, and restoration. Help this dear sister to trust You completely, even in the waiting. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand at work in her life and in the lives of those she loves. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to bring fear, division, or sickness, and we declare that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
