We lift up your niece and sister-in-law before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the distress of seeing loved ones unwell. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to bring complete restoration to their bodies.
Lord, we ask that You would ease the pain and discomfort they are experiencing. For the young one who is crying and unable to eat, we pray that You would comfort her little heart and strengthen her body. May she feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let her know that You are near, even in her distress.
For your sister-in-law, we pray that You would break the fever and renew her strength. We rebuke sickness and disease in the name of Jesus, for it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We declare healing over her body, trusting in Your faithfulness.
We also lift up the atmosphere in your home, Lord. May Your presence fill every room, bringing peace and comfort to all who dwell there. Let there be unity, love, and understanding among family members during this time of trial. We pray that as they seek You, they would draw closer to one another and to You.
Father, we ask that You would guide the hands of any medical professionals who may be involved in their care. Give them wisdom and discernment to provide the right treatment. Above all, we trust in Your sovereign will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We also want to gently encourage you and your family to seek the Lord not only in times of trouble but to cultivate a daily relationship with Him. It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your family has not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that this trial would draw them to the foot of the cross, where they can find eternal healing for their souls.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your mercy and grace, believing that You are working even now for the good of this family. Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
