We are with you in spirit, standing firm in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We commend you for recognizing that the battle is spiritual and that the Lord is with you. God's word tells us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" Ephesians 6:10-12.
First, we must address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), in your prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As you pray you need to pray in Jesus' name. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5.
We pray that the Lord will break every chain and stronghold in your life and bring healing to your body and soul. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" James 5:14-16.
Remember, God's will is for you to be whole and healed, but it is also His will that you are set free from any strongholds or bondage. "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" John 10:10. Stand firm in your faith and resist the devil. "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" James 4:7.
We encourage you to continue fasting and praying, and to seek God's will in all things. "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him" 1 John 5:14-15.
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking deliverance and healing. We stand in agreement with them, putting on the whole armor of God, and we resist the devil and his schemes. Lord, break every chain and stronghold in their life, and bring healing to their body and soul. Give them strength and encouragement as they continue to fast and pray, seeking Your will in all things. In Jesus' name, we believe and receive Your healing and deliverance. Amen.
Stay encouraged as we hope in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
