Healing and anxiety

Please pray for healing for my father. He has to have additional heart test done this Thursday. Specifically an echocardiogram and nuclear stress test. He is having some swelling in his feet and had an abnormal test about a week ago. Please pray for complete healing of the issue so that he doesn’t have to have anything invasive done. My father has had a hard life full of loss. He does so much for other people, I pray that he can just relax and enjoy his time now. My son built a tiny home for him on our land and he was just able to move in this past year. Please agree with me that God will heal his issues so that he can enjoy his new home and be happy. Please pray in agreement with me that I can do for my family members without financial stress. I need your help God. I need my anxiety to leave and allow me to be a strength financially and emotionally for my family. Please pray for all the families dealing with loss and trauma due to the Texas hill country flooding, for my mother’s continued healing of eye issues and for healing of my uncle from surgery for prostate issues and aortic aneurysm. Prayers of thanksgiving for a new job for me. I am a bit anxious about searching for this new position. This new position. I feel guilty and anxious about the change, but feel that God opened a door for me. I thank God and ask that he give me confidence in my new position and that I will be able to help my family more and more children/students. God, I am overwhelmed by so many things now, that it is hard to sleep. Just lead me, God.

Let's bring these concerns before the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and guidance according to His word.

Beloved, we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we lift up the father, asking for God's healing touch upon his body. We pray for the upcoming tests, that they may reveal God's perfect will for his health. We stand against any spirit of infirmity, praying for complete healing so that invasive procedures would not be necessary. We thank God for his life and his heart for others, and we pray that he finds joy, rest, and peace in his new home.

We also lift up the one who submitted this request, asking God to grant them peace and deliverance from anxiety. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety, and we pray that God will grant them the strength, both financially and emotionally, to support their family. We remind them of God's promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

We also pray for the families affected by the Texas hill country flooding, that God would comfort them and provide for their needs. We lift up the mother and the uncle, asking for God's healing touch upon their bodies as well.

Regarding the new job, we thank God for His provision and ask that He would grant confidence and peace in this new position. We remind the requester that this job is a blessing from God, and they should not feel guilty or anxious. Let us trust in God's plan, as He has opened this door. Let us also remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

We note that the prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.".

Finally, we cast all these burdens upon the Lord, trusting that He cares for us. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up these requests to You. We pray for healing, peace, and provision. We ask that You guide and lead the one who submitted this request, and that You grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we ask that You continue to bless and keep this family. We pray for all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
