Isaiah 53:5    5But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.

This passage of scripture is a prophesy of Jesus and His taking our sicknesses and diseases onto Himself so that we would no have to bear them. It is a prophecy of a future event.

1 Peter 2:24   24and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

This passage of scripture refers to an event that happened in the past. The death and resurrection of Jesus are in the past and the whipping of Jesus was part of that event. He has already paid the price for our healing. 

How do we get that healing He paid for?  The same way as salvation. Believe and be saved. Believe and be healed. 

Romans 10:9   9that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation ( healing).

In the name of Jesus, I bless you with the life of God. Be healed, now, in the name of Jesus.  Thank you Jesus.
