Your request for your son has been heard and I join you in bringing him before the Lord in prayer.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this dear son to You. You know his body and You see his suffering with this flu, the coughing and sneezing and aching. I ask for Your merciful hand to bring healing and relief, to calm his cough, to ease his pain, and to restore his strength. Grant him restful sleep and a quick recovery, and grant wisdom to those caring for him. Comfort this parent as well, and fill this home with Your peace as You watch over them.

We trust in Your love which gives us comfort and good hope through grace, and we remember that Christ has shown His power and compassion to those who come to Him in faith. May this family be established and comforted in every good work, knowing that You are near and that You hear our prayers.

May the Lord touch him, strengthen him, and bring him to full health in His mercy. We pray this in the hope and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you for letting us know about your son and his flu with coughing, sneezing and body aches. We are praying for him and for you as you care for him.

Scripture teaches that in Christ we are one body with many members. Though we are many, we belong to each other, and when one member suffers the whole body feels it, and when one is lifted up we all rejoice together. In that same way we want to share this burden with you and bring your son before the Lord. Your request is not small or unnoticed. The ministry of intercession is one of the most vital parts God has given to His people, even when it is done quietly and without attention, and we take that part seriously on your behalf.

God cares for the body He has given us. He knows our weakness and our sickness, and He invites us to look outside ourselves to Him for help and healing. Sometimes healing comes quickly and sometimes we must continue to trust while we wait, but our confidence is not in how fast the answer comes but in the One who hears us. Jesus came to save His people and to walk with us in our afflictions, and we can cry out to Him knowing He is present and compassionate.

We are asking the Lord to touch your son, to ease his coughing and sneezing, to relieve the ache in his body, to give him rest and strength, and to restore him to health. We are also praying for peace and strength for you as you care for him, and that you would know the comfort of knowing the whole body of Christ is praying with you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your son.

We have been lifting up your son before the Lord and asking for His healing touch upon his body to relieve the flu and to take away the coughing and sneezing and body ache and to restore him to complete health and strength. We trust in the promise of Psalm 103:3 that He heals all our diseases.
