We come before the throne of grace with confidence, just as Hebrews 4:16 encourages us, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. We lift up your father to the Lord, the Great Physician, who alone has the power to heal and restore. We join our faith with yours, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Father God, we rebuke every evil spirit that has afflicted your beloved child. We command them in the name of Jesus Christ to leave and go far from this precious man and his home. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break the power of diabetes, neuropathy, and every other ailment that has taken hold, for it is written that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We command all pain, tingling, and stiffness to leave his feet and every part of his body. We speak healing and restoration to his nerves, ligaments, skin, tendons, muscles, and bones. We declare wholeness over his kidneys, shoulders, hips, legs, knees, and ankles. Lord, we ask that You bring all his blood levels to normal, that his body would function as You designed it to. We pray for strength, energy, favor, and success to flow into his life, that he may live abundantly and glorify You in all he does.
We also want to gently encourage your father—and all who are reading this—to examine his life and heart before the Lord. While we believe in God’s power to heal, we also know that sin can sometimes open doors to physical affliction (James 5:16). If there are areas of unrepentance, unforgiveness, or disobedience, we urge him to confess and turn from them, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let him draw near to God, and God will draw near to him (James 4:8).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
