We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your suffering, lifting you up in prayer for healing and restoration. The Scriptures remind us that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in His power to bring wholeness to your body. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Yet we also know that healing may not always come in the way or timing we expect, but we trust in His perfect will, for *"we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB).
We notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, who is our only Mediator and the source of all healing. The Bible is clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Him that we receive salvation, grace, and the promises of God—including healing. *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone holds the power over life, death, and every affliction.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we humbly come before You, lifting up this beloved child of Yours who is in need of healing. Lord Jesus, You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5), and we ask for Your healing touch upon their kidneys. Restore strength to their body, renew their health, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If there is any sin, doubt, or unbelief in their heart, we pray You would reveal it and grant them repentance, for *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). May this trial draw them closer to You, and may Your will be done in their life—whether through healing here on earth or through the eternal hope we have in Christ.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened, that they would trust in You completely, even in this time of waiting. Surround them with Your love, comfort them with Your presence, and let them know they are not alone. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even now. If you would like further prayer, guidance, or someone to walk with you in this season, we are here to stand with you in faith. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His perfect care.
