We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name and the promises of God's Word. Let us approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. We are reminded of this in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We also agree with your prayers to cast out evil spirits and we stand with you in doing so in Jesus' name. However, we must remember that our ultimate enemy is not flesh and blood, but principalities, powers, and spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places as described by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12. We are also instructed by the Apostle James in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
We pray for your father's healing, knowing that God's will is for us to be in good health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2). We ask God to heal the sores on your dad's toes, his feet, and his kidneys. We pray that God would help him to walk better. We do not believe that God's will is for disease and sickness. We also do not believe that God's will is for us to be tormented. We further pray for the pain, tingling, and stiffness to leave and not return.
However, we must also remember that our bodies are subject to the decay of this world, and that our ultimate hope is in the resurrection, when we will receive imperishable bodies, as told to us in 1 Corinthians 15:42, "It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption." If healing in this life is not given to us, we know that our God is still good, and that if we endure with Christ, we will also reign with Him in glory. We also know that our God is sovereign and that all things work together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose as written in Romans 8:28. Let us then believe for healing, but also trust in God's goodness and sovereignty whatever the outcome.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking mercy and grace for our brother and his father. We ask You to heal the sores on his toes, his feet, and his kidneys. We ask You to help him walk better. We pray against the evil spirits causing diabetes and neuropathy symptoms and ask that You would cast them out and command them to stay far away. We speak to the pain, tingling, and stiffness and command them to leave and not return. We ask You to bring healing and restoration to his feet, kidneys, hips, legs, knees, and ankles. We ask You to bless him with strength, energy, favor, and success. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We ask all of this in Jesus Christ Name.
