Heal The Heart

Lord God I come before you, and place the relationship between my daughter and myself, that we come to a new understanding of my daughter since now she is a new mother,

and all her attention is giving to her baby. I kind of feel that there is a difference between my daughter and myself. May the lord be in our hearts and minds,

that this new relationship of mother, son, and mother of daughter grows into a deeper place of understanding. Please pray for my upcoming appointments in January

that all turns out well. They are all doctors appointments. May the lord place his healing hand on my lungs, knee and back. May the new baby sleep more than 2

hours, and will not be too fussy.

I pray for this person and her family.

Bless their relationship. May they be mindful of you and your ways. Guide them in peace. Help them to remain in your will. You know the future, you know the outcomes in the appointments. Lord, give her a peace of mind regarding these appointments and help her to stay firm in your word. Bless the new baby and give peace to the little one. Lord Jesus, your will be done in this family and protect them. Amen.

A Parent's Prayer for their Children

O Heavenly Father,

I commend my children unto Thee.

Be Thou their God and Father;

and mercifully supply whatever is wanting in me

through frailty or negligence.

Strengthen them to overcome the corruptions of the world,

to resist all solicitations to evil,

whether from within or without;

and deliver them from the secret snares of the enemy.

Pour Thy grace into their hearts,

and confirm and multiply in them the gifts of Thy Holy Spirit,

that they may daily grow in grace

and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ;

and so, faithfully serving Thee here,

may come to rejoice in Thy presence hereafter.
