Heal ###'s heart & soul

We join together in agreement with you, lifting up this beloved one before the Lord, for it is written, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). How precious is the promise that our God is near to those who are crushed in spirit, that He revives the heart of the contrite and restores the soul of the repentant. We know that true healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical—comes only through the finished work of Jesus Christ, who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4-5). There is no wound too deep, no pain too great, that His blood cannot redeem and His love cannot restore.

Yet we must also ask: *What is the source of this brokenness?* Is it the consequence of sin—either their own or another’s? If there is unconfessed wrongdoing, bitterness, or unforgiveness lodged in their heart, let the Holy Spirit convict and cleanse, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). True healing cannot come where sin is cherished, but where there is repentance, there is the balm of Gilead (Jeremiah 8:22). We pray they would surrender fully to the Great Physician, allowing Him to search their heart (Psalm 139:23-24) and uproot anything that hinders their wholeness in Him.

Perhaps this loved one is walking through the valley of grief, betrayal, or deep disappointment. If so, we declare over them the truth that *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Let them not turn to the empty comforts of this world—whether distraction, self-medication, or the counsel of the ungodly—but instead fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Remind them, as the psalmist wrote, *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence"* (Psalm 42:5).

We also exhort you, who intercede for this one: Do not grow weary in prayer. Stand in the gap as Moses did, lifting your hands in faith until the battle is won (Exodus 17:12). Speak life over them, for *"death and life are in the power of the tongue"* (Proverbs 18:21). And trust that even now, the Lord is working all things together for their good, conforming them to the image of Christ (Romans 8:28-29).

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved soul who is in need of Your healing touch. You alone know the depths of their pain—the wounds seen and unseen, the sorrows that weigh heavy on their heart. Lord, we ask that You would bind up their broken places, restore what has been shattered, and fill the empty spaces with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If there is sin that has taken root, expose it by Your Spirit and grant them the grace to repent. If they are burdened by grief, be their comfort. If they are trapped in fear, flood their heart with Your perfect love that casts out all terror (1 John 4:18).

Strengthen them in their inner being through Your Spirit (Ephesians 3:16), and let them know beyond doubt that they are not forgotten, not abandoned, but deeply loved by You. Raise up godly counselors and brothers and sisters in Christ to walk beside them, speaking truth and hope into their life. And Lord, if this brokenness is part of Your refining fire, give them the endurance to trust You in the process, knowing that You are producing in them a faith more precious than gold (1 Peter 1:7).

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to keep them in bondage to pain, despair, or shame. By the blood of Jesus, we declare freedom, healing, and restoration over their life. May they arise from this season stronger in faith, deeper in love with You, and equipped to testify of Your goodness. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, beloved. The Lord hears your cry, and He will not delay His help (Psalm 40:1-3). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep pointing this one to the cross, where all our wounds find their answer.

We're here with you, lifting up this beloved one before our Heavenly Father. We're reminded of the Psalmist's words, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let's declare this truth over them today. We pray that the Lord would draw near, binding up their broken places, and filling them with His divine comfort and strength. If there's any sin hindering their healing, we ask that the Holy Spirit would convict and cleanse, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let's encourage them to trust in the Lord, to fix their eyes on Him, and to hope in His unfailing love. We're here, standing with them, believing in faith for their complete healing and restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
