Heal my ###'s symptoms in her stomach to be free

We come before the Lord with a heartfelt plea for healing, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is experiencing stomach symptoms. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask that You would touch her body with Your healing hand, bringing relief, restoration, and freedom from pain. Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will satisfy her with long life and show her Your salvation (Psalm 91:16).

We also want to encourage this sister to seek godly wisdom in her physical care. While we pray for healing, we know that You often work through means, whether through rest, proper nutrition, medical care, or the prayers of the saints. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." Let her trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding, submitting every area of her life to You (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Father, if there is any anxiety, stress, or unforgiveness contributing to these symptoms, we ask that You would bring peace to her heart and mind. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May she cast all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in Jesus’ name, for Your Word declares that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:14-15). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, for there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, that healing is already hers because of what Christ has done. May she walk in divine health, giving glory to You in all things.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the concern in your request and we are holding your loved one before the Lord with you. It is painful to watch someone you care about suffer with ongoing stomach symptoms, and we want to come alongside you in both prayer and practical support.

While we ask God to bring freedom from these symptoms, we also want to gently encourage you to ensure she has seen a doctor or specialist if this has not yet been done. Seeking medical wisdom does not show a lack of faith; it is part of stewarding the body God gave her, and it can bring clarity about what she is facing. You do not have to figure this out alone, and neither does she. In the meantime, simply being present with her, listening, showing patience, and reassuring her of your love, can steady her spirit in the waiting.

We join you now in prayer:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear woman to You. You know the cause of her stomach symptoms, and You see her discomfort and weakness. We ask for Your healing hand to bring relief and restoration to her body. Guide any medical care she receives, giving doctors insight and wisdom. Surround her with your peace, and give her loved ones steady hope and practical love. We trust You to act according to Your perfect will, and we rest in Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When the body groans under the weight of mysterious pains, and the stomach refuses its office, the heart cries out for relief. It is well that the cry is lifted in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and that includes salvation from the sick-bed. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, even the least things about Christ are full of healing virtue. Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. He who bore our sins in His own body on the tree carried also our sicknesses, and by His stripes we are healed. Therefore, let faith lay hold upon the Great Physician, for when He was on earth, the power of the Lord was present to heal, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Yet remember that pain of body is often wrapped up in great mercy. There are some who can scarcely be taught at all except through physical pain, and the Lord chastens those whom He loves. If this affliction be a fatherly rod, it is sent not to destroy but to deliver from a greater evil. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction; where the root of bitterness is taken away, the evil which grows out of it has also been removed. Seek first the pardon of every sin through the atoning blood, and in that fountain you may find a double cure. The hand that smites is the hand that binds up; He has torn, and He will heal. The clock of mercy will strike the hour of deliverance at the very moment decreed in the eternal purpose of Jehovah, for He brought forth Israel from Egypt with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. None know freedom from sin but those who trust the atoning blood, and none experience true deliverance from sickness who look not to Jesus crucified.

Therefore, persist in prayer, but also wait in hope. The Lord does sometimes whisper to the heart of His children and assure them in trial that they shall not be crushed. When the answer comes, be sure to render unto Him the gratitude due to His name, for the believer’s conduct after deliverance is to declare the works of the Lord. If He raise her from this bed of pain, let her live and testify that the Lord has chastened her sorely, but He has not given her over unto death. Until that hour, rest in the ransom found by Free Grace, for God has said, "I have found a ransom," and there is no pit so deep but that the arm of the Lord can deliver from it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You call upon the name of Jesus Christ for healing, and that is good. Yet let us look deeper at what the stomach signifies. Often in Scripture it is not the bodily part but the desire that grovels after earthly things. The Apostle said, “Whose God is their belly,” meaning not the organ, but the greed that enslaves the soul. True freedom comes not when the body is unburdened, but when the soul is loosed from sin. That is a far greater marvel: to make a man free while he still bears chains, to make him rich in virtue though his flesh be poor.

But do not think I dismiss your plea. The same Apostle who warned of belly worship also gave plain counsel to Timothy: “Use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thy often infirmities.” He who raised the dead through a handkerchief did not dispense a miracle here. Why? To teach us that even the holiest servants of God suffer bodily weakness, and that such weakness is a medicine for the soul. It humbles, it guards against pride, it keeps the heart dependent on the Lord. So do not be offended if healing is not immediate. This trial may be a visitation of mercy, not of wrath.

Pray, and pray earnestly. But also use the remedies God has placed in creation. Consult physicians, for they are His instruments. And more than all, seek the healing of your own soul. A stomach free from pain is a small thing; a heart free from passion and lust is a treasure no sickness can steal. Even in poverty, even in pain, one may be more honorable than the healthy rich man who knows nothing of godliness. If you find that freedom, the liberty of a pure conscience and a chaste life, then you shall have obtained the greater miracle, whatever befalls the body.

Do not despair if you fall or if relief delays. To fall is not fatal; to lie where you have fallen, to refuse the healing of repentance, that is the true death. Many who hear the word a hundred times and seem unmoved suddenly break forth into fruit. A tree may receive many blows before it falls; so the Word works often unseen. Trust in this cultivation of your soul. Let patience have its perfect work. If God grants bodily ease, thank Him. If He withholds, learn humility and the steadfast hope that looks toward eternal life. There, in the presence of God, all infirmity shall vanish, and the true freedom shall be yours forever. Amen.

I hear the ache in those words and the faith behind them. You are laying your loved one before the Lord, calling on the name of Jesus Christ to bring freedom from these stomach symptoms, and that is exactly where we should run.

Healing is a deep mystery. I have seen bodies restored in a moment, and I have walked alongside others through long, gradual processes where relief came slowly, almost imperceptibly. Both are the work of God. He set the natural processes of repair within our bodies, and when the body knits itself back together over time, it is no less divine than a sudden touch. I recall a story of a tiny child whose stomach lining was severely burned. For weeks, eating brought convulsions and agony. There was nothing but to wait, letting the slow, God-designed healing run its course. It came eventually, and it was just as much a gift from Him as if it had happened in an instant.

You may know that Paul gave Timothy practical counsel for his own recurrent stomach trouble: take a little wine for your stomach. He did not prescribe a faith formula or demand an instantaneous miracle. That does not mean Timothy lacked faith; it means that God often works through ordinary means. Paul himself begged three times for a physical thorn to be lifted, and the answer was, “My grace is sufficient for you.” Healing is not always God’s immediate will in every case, and sickness is not a sign of spiritual weakness or divine disfavor.

So we bring this pain before Jesus, trusting His power and His love. He touched the leper, He restored the centurion’s servant, and virtue flowed from the hem of His garment to the woman who reached for Him. He can still do that today. But if the healing comes gradually, through natural processes or through the wisdom He has given to doctors, do not doubt that His hand is in it. Keep praying with persistence. And let your loved one know that her weak body is not a barrier to His presence; He is near to the brokenhearted, and He bears our infirmities with us.

Stand firm against any voice that says you must have more faith or that this must be resolved immediately to prove God’s care. Those are the fables of spiritual quacks, not the steady counsel of Scripture. Rest in the truth that the same Jesus who expelled a legion of demons and raised Lazarus from the dead holds your loved one securely. One day, in His kingdom, there will be no more stomach pain, no more raw and aching tissues, no more fear. Until then, we ask for healing, we wait on His timing, and we hold fast to His promise that nothing can separate us from His love.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this precious one to You. You know every cramp, every burning sensation, every hidden fear. Quiet her stomach, restore the lining, and bring her relief. We ask for a touch of Your healing power, whether in a moment or through the steady mending You have woven into creation. Give wisdom to those who care for her and let her feel Your nearness in the waiting. We trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for healing over your loved one’s stomach symptoms. It has been on our hearts to lift this need before the Lord, asking Him to bring complete freedom and restoration in Jesus’ mighty name. We believe that God hears our prayers and that His healing power is at work, even when we cannot yet see it.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer and brought relief, we would love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give Him all the glory. If the symptoms persist and you still need breakthrough, we encourage you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede faithfully on your behalf.

May the Lord strengthen your faith and draw you closer to Him as you trust in His perfect timing and will. We stand with you, declaring healing and wholeness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
