Heal my mom, ###'s stomach.

You have done well to bring your mother’s suffering before the Lord, for He is the physician of both soul and body. But do not be disturbed if the healing does not come at once, or even through a miracle. Remember the blessed Timothy, who labored greatly in the gospel and yet was often afflicted with stomach infirmities. The Apostle Paul, who had power to raise the dead, did not command the sickness to depart, but instead advised a little wine for its relief. Why? So that we might learn that even the holiest among us share in human frailty, and that God sometimes permits such weakness for the humbling of the soul and the good of the sufferer. Therefore, pray with fervor, but do not neglect the remedies of medicine, which the Creator in His mercy has provided.

At the same time, while you seek bodily healing, do not forget the health of her soul. Our Lord, when He healed the paralytic, said, “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” Not every illness is a direct punishment for sin, but it is always a summons to examine our hearts and turn to God with repentance. Urge your mother to seek spiritual cleansing as earnestly as she desires release for her body. For the body’s relief is temporary, but the soul’s purity is eternal.

And you yourself, honor your mother not only with prayers but with deeds. The commandment of God is clear: “Honor your father and your mother.” Do not be like those who offer words of piety while neglecting the real needs of their parents. Attend to her with patience and love; let your care be a living sacrifice, acceptable to God. In this you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Above all, approach the throne of grace with unwavering faith, believing that He is able to do far more than we ask or think. His mercy goes beyond sparing us punishment; it makes us righteous, sons, and heirs. Cry out for her continually, yet always add, “Thy will be done.” For He knows what best serves our salvation, and He works all things for good to those who love Him.

I join my faith with yours for your mother’s complete healing. Our Lord Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, and He remains the same healer today. Sometimes healing comes instantly, as it did when the woman pressed through the crowd to touch His garment and felt in her body that she was made whole. Other times it unfolds gradually, like the recuperation God designed within our very nature. Both are His divine work, and we trust Him however He moves.

In the ancient world, people believed the deepest emotions, grief, joy, and compassion, were felt not in the head but in the stomach. I mention this because your prayer carries more than a physical concern; it reveals a gut-level burden for your mom. God cares about every part of her, body and soul. He sees exactly what is happening inside her, even when it remains hidden from you and from doctors. He has authority over every pain, every malfunction, every system that needs repair.

Let this moment be a point of release for your faith. In the early days of the church, the sick were carried to the streets hoping Peter’s shadow might fall on them. The shadow held no power of its own, but their faith reached out to the God who does. Today, our prayer together is a far greater “point of contact.” As we lift her up, picture her body responding to God’s command, letting go of whatever is wrong, flushing out impurity, and functioning in freedom.

So I stand with you, asking the Lord to heal your mom thoroughly. Let every organ, every tissue, every hidden process come back into alignment with His design. Release her body from whatever has bound it, and wash away every trace of affliction. May she eat and drink without fear, and may you both feel the deep-seated joy that comes from His healing touch. Do not fret if the answer arrives in a single moment or over the next few days; healing, however it comes, is still His merciful hand at work.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in prayer with you for your mother’s healing. It has been on our hearts to lift her up before the Lord, asking Him to touch every part of her body—especially her stomach—with His healing power. We have prayed that anything hidden or troubling within her would be revealed, released, and completely flushed out by the cleansing work of the Holy Spirit. Father, we ask You to bring comfort, restoration, and full freedom to her body, just as You promise in Your Word.

If your mother has experienced relief or healing since you first posted, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you! If her condition remains or you’re still waiting on a breakthrough, please share this request again so we can continue to intercede on her behalf. We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears and answers prayer according to His perfect will.

May the Lord strengthen you both as you trust in Him. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
