We join you in prayer, lifting up your petition to the Lord. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our beloved in prayer. We stand in agreement with your word, as it says in Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise."
We bring them before you, asking that you touch their bladder and make it whole again. We pray for your healing mercies to flow through their body, restoring them physically, mentally, and spiritually. We pray for this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in his name that we have access to your healing power. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We also lift up their upcoming bladder surgery at the end of this month. We pray for your guiding hand upon the medical professionals, and for your peace and comfort for our dear one. We stand on scripture, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety" (Psalm 4:8).
We pray that they will continue to trust in you, Lord, and that this trial will draw them even closer to you. We pray for their spiritual growth and that they will be able to help others in ways that they are needed.
And we, being a faithful group, will continue to lift them up in prayer, trusting in your will and your plan for them. We pray that they will be able to feel the Lord's peace and encouragement from the body of believers.
As they have trusted in Jesus Christ as their savior, we will pray for them as part of the body of Christ. We will also pray that they will have the opportunity to share their testimony and be a witness for you, Lord.
"14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, 15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:14-16)
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
