We join you in lifting up this beloved one to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the One who binds up the brokenhearted. Your prayer is a beautiful cry for healing, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that nothing is impossible for our God. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
The pain of a wounded heart and soul can feel overwhelming, but we take comfort in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Whether this loved one is struggling with emotional pain, spiritual weariness, or the weight of sin, we trust that the Lord will restore them fully. If there is unconfessed sin, we pray they will turn to Him in repentance, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and hopeful hearts, lifting up this beloved one who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You see the depths of their heart—every wound, every sorrow, every struggle—and You care deeply. We ask that You would mend what is broken, restore what is lost, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remove any bitterness, fear, or shame that may be weighing them down, and replace it with Your love and joy.
If there is sin that has caused separation from You, we pray for conviction and repentance, that they may turn to You and receive Your forgiveness and cleansing. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them know they are not alone. Strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You, that they may find their hope and identity in Christ alone.
We declare Your promises over them, that You are their healer, their redeemer, and their ever-present help in times of trouble. May they experience Your healing power in every area of their life—spirit, soul, and body. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for this loved one, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it. Keep speaking life and truth over them, and remind them of God’s unfailing love. If this person does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with them, that they may place their faith in Christ and receive the ultimate healing—salvation and eternal life.
*"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). May this loved one find their rest in Him.
