Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up the Vice President of Ghana, who has suffered from a severe stroke. We are reminded in Scripture that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).
Firstly, we must acknowledge that healing comes from God alone, and it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach Him confidently. As it is written, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).
However, we must also address that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). As we intercede for the Vice President, let us ensure that our prayers are lifted up in the name of Jesus, for His glory and by the power of His resurrection.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up the Vice President of Ghana. You know her intimately, and You know the details of her condition. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her life. We pray that You would restore her strength, her speech, her mobility—everything that has been affected by this stroke. Give her doctors wisdom and guide them in their decisions. Surround her with Your peace and comfort her family during this time.
Lord, we also pray for her spiritual health. Draw her close to You during this trial, and reveal to her the love and salvation that is found only in Jesus Christ. If she does not already know Him, we pray that she would come to faith in His name.
Father, we ask that You would raise her up to continue the work You have for her. Guide her in Your will and give her the strength to serve Your purposes. We claim Your promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
In Jesus' name, we pray for her healing and for Your will to be done. Amen.

We've been holding our sister in Christ, the Vice President of ###, close to our hearts. We're standing in faith, believing that our God who heals is already at work in her life. We're reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We trust that even in this trial, God's power is being made perfect in her weakness.
We're praying for complete healing, for strength to return, and for her to be able to continue serving God and her nation. We're also lifting up her family, asking for peace and comfort to surround them during this time. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Let's keep interceding, believing that our God who started this good work in her will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
