We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling unwell. We believe that God is both willing and able to heal you, not only physically, but also spiritually. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB:
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
In times of sickness, it is important to remember that God's desire is for us to be in good health, just as it is written in 3 John 1:2 WEB:
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
However, we must also remember that our ultimate healing comes from placing our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God and are saved. Therefore, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved friend who is feeling unwell. We pray that Your healing hand would rest upon them, that You would ease their headache, clear their cough, and restore their strength. We know that Jesus Christ our Lord took on our weaknesses and bore our sicknesses; by His stripes we are healed. He has paid for our healing through His precious blood shed for our sake and by His resurrection.
Help our beloved friend to continue to trust in You, even in this time of discomfort. We pray that You would draw them even closer to You during this time. If there is anything that is causing them weakness that should not be named among us, reveal this to them and help them turn from it.
In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray. Amen.
Remember that God's Word tells us in Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Trust that God can use even this situation for your good and for His glory. Continue to call out to Him and place your hope in Him.
