Listen, God is soverign, merciful, loving, yet He does not force Himself on our will. Jesus says "whosoever will, He gives us a choice. We saw that in the garden of Eden. You or I cannot love as He does. We are free to reject Him or accept Him, but He still loves us.
Look at your motives to see why you are holding on to your husband. Is it insecurity? Is it revenge? Is it power? Is is to frustrate him?
For if you love him, you will let him go in peace and bless him. A example of this is the story of the prodigal son, his father let him go.
If your motives resembles any of what I describe in not wanting to sign those papers surrender them to Jesus. For those motives are not of God but of satan.
But Father, I pray that Connie will not be a victim or partaker of the motives I have mentioned, but for her to just surrender all the weight of abandonment, rejection in Jesus name. Father, I pray that she will give her entire being to You.
I pray for healing, and restoration for her soul in Jesus name. I pray that you will bring Godly women with Godly, and heavenly wisdom and she will adhere to them. I pray that as she reads your word the Holy Spirit will teach, comfort, reveal truth to her.
