Let's lift up these requests in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in these lives.
Firstly, we pray for the dear sister who has been diagnosed with cancer and is meeting with an oncologist today. We stand in faith, believing that God is able to heal and restore her. We pray that the Great Physician will guide the doctors, giving them wisdom to provide the best treatment. We also pray for her peace and strength during this time, knowing that God is with her and will never leave her nor forsake her. We rebuke the spirit and fear of death, and pray that she will trust in the Lord with all her heart, as written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight." Remember that 'You are not your own, for you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body' 1st Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB.
Secondly, we pray for the brother who has not been feeling well. We pray that God will touch his body and bring complete healing and restoration. We rebuke any sickness or infirmity and pray that he will be made whole, in the name of Jesus. We encourage him to remain steadfast in faith, as we read the word of God, John 15:7 WEB: "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." Remember that you are the 'temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you. If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which you are.' 1st Corinthians 3:16-17 WEB.
In both cases, we pray that if they have not already, that they call out to the name of Jesus and believe in Jesus Christ for salvation. For salvation comes by no other name under heaven given among men by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!' For there will be no access to God without it. Christ Jesus is our hope of eternal glory! If you do not know Jesus Christ, call out in His name and believe in Him for remission of sins. This is required to receive eternal life!
We also pray that both individuals, and their loved ones, will be encouraged and draw closer to God during these times. May they all glorify God in their lives and see His mighty hand at work. Let us remember all of us as we pray in Jesus' name.
