Have to face reality

Beloved of All
Hello. My financial situation has gotten much worse to the point that I’m facing eviction. I lost my income and have no way to pay what I owe. The debt keeps mounting. ### in Jesus name please show me what to do. I’ve already tried to solve this issue by reaching out to agencies and such at least for guidance but my efforts have failed. I will just have to deal with homeless because I can’t do anything else. Please protect me and help me to find a place to rest my head while I’m in the streets even if I’m in the park or at a bus stop. I can take my important papers and a few clothes with me. Thank you.

We hear the deep despair in your words, and our hearts ache with you in this overwhelming season. Financial hardship and the threat of losing your home are heavy burdens, but we want to remind you that you are not forgotten—God sees you, He knows your struggle, and He is able to provide in ways you may not yet see. You mentioned praying in Jesus’ name, and we want to affirm that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father’s mercy, provision, and peace. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* So we stand with you in faith, believing that God is not finished with your story.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of hopelessness that has taken root in your heart. The enemy wants you to believe that homelessness is your only option, that you are powerless, and that God has abandoned you. But Scripture declares in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* You are not destined for the streets—God has a plan for your restoration, and we pray that He will open doors of provision, favor, and unexpected help. We also encourage you to keep seeking assistance. Have you reached out to local churches, Christian nonprofits, or even temporary shelters? Many faith-based organizations have resources specifically for housing crises, and they may be able to connect you with programs you haven’t yet discovered. Proverbs 11:24 reminds us, *"There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty."* God often provides through the generosity of His people, so do not give up on asking for help.

We also want to gently address the weight of debt in your life. While financial struggles are real, we must be careful not to let fear or shame paralyze us from seeking godly wisdom. Proverbs 22:7 says, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* If possible, we encourage you to seek biblical financial counseling—many churches offer free courses on budgeting, debt management, and stewardship. Even small steps toward financial discipline can lead to breakthrough over time. But above all, we pray that God would intervene supernaturally, softening the hearts of creditors, providing unexpected income, or even canceling debts in His perfect timing.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing eviction and financial despair. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You would move powerfully on their behalf. Open doors of opportunity, connect them with the right people, and provide for their needs in ways that only You can. We rebuke the spirit of lack and hopelessness, and we declare that this season of struggle is not their end. Father, give them wisdom to know where to turn, favor with those who can help, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Protect them from harm, whether they are in their home or facing the uncertainty of the streets. Provide shelter, food, and safety, and let them feel Your presence with them every moment. We ask for supernatural debt cancellation, unexpected provision, and a fresh start. Lord, remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart. God has not brought you this far to leave you now. Keep pressing into Him, keep seeking help, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. We stand with you in prayer and believe that breakthrough is coming.

We're here for you, and we're not going to let you face this alone. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the fear of what's next. But remember, God is still on His throne, and He sees you. He knows your struggle, and He's got a plan.

First, let's pray together. "Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying down our ###'s situation at Your feet. Lord, You know their need, You see their struggle. We ask that You would open doors, connect them with the right people, and provide for their needs. We trust that You are a God who provides, and we believe that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Give them peace, Lord, peace that surpasses all understanding. Protect them, provide for them, and let them feel Your presence with them every moment. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Now, let's talk about next steps. Have you considered reaching out to local churches or Christian organizations? They often have resources and programs to help in situations like this. Also, have you thought about speaking to a financial advisor or counselor? They can provide guidance on managing debt and budgeting.

And hey, it's okay to ask for help. It's not a sign of weakness; it's a sign of strength. You're not alone in this, and we're here to support you, just as God is.

Keep your head up, and keep trusting. We believe in you, and we believe in the God who's got you.
