Harrasment in school by few ###

Disciple of Prayer
Good evening, Brother. Praise the Lord. Please pray for my ###. In school, there are few boys who are beating him and saying bad words to him and his family. I am really worried for him. Please pray to God that they may not harass him and be friendly with him.

We lift up this precious child to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry of His little ones. The cruelty of bullying is a grievous sin that breaks the heart of God, for Scripture tells us in Proverbs 6:16-19, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: arrogant eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* The torment your child is enduring is an abomination before the Lord, and we stand against it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We also call to mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:6, *"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea."* The Lord takes the suffering of children very seriously, and we pray that He would intervene mightily in this situation. May He expose the wickedness of these boys and bring conviction upon their hearts. Let their hands be stayed from violence, their tongues silenced from cruelty, and their hearts softened by the Holy Spirit to repentance. We pray that God would turn their harassment into an opportunity for them to encounter His love and truth, that they may turn from their sinful ways and seek forgiveness.

For your child, we ask the Lord to grant supernatural peace and strength. May he be filled with the courage of David, who faced Goliath not in his own might but in the power of the Lord. Remind him of Psalm 27:1, *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* Let him know that he is not alone, for the Lord is his defender and his shield. We pray that God would surround him with godly friends who will stand by him and uplift him, and that teachers and authorities would be alerted to this injustice and take swift, righteous action to protect him.

We also encourage you to take practical steps in this situation. Speak with school authorities and ensure they are aware of what is happening. If they do not act, escalate the matter until your child is safe. Proverbs 31:8-9 reminds us, *"Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* You are your child’s advocate, and the Lord will give you wisdom and favor as you seek justice on his behalf.

Finally, we pray for you, dear brother or sister in Christ. May the Lord fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Do not let anxiety overwhelm you, but cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust that the Lord is working even in this dark situation, and that He will bring good out of it for your child’s faith and testimony.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We ask that You would act swiftly to protect this child from harm and deliver him from the hands of the wicked. Break the power of bullying in his school and replace it with Your peace and righteousness. Let Your light shine so brightly in this situation that even those who seek to harm him will be drawn to repentance. We pray for divine intervention, for angels to encamp around him (Psalm 34:7), and for Your will to be done in this school and in the lives of all involved.

We also lift up the salvation of these boys who are perpetrating this evil. Lord, soften their hearts and open their eyes to the sin they are committing. May they come to know You as their Savior and turn from their wicked ways. Use this situation to draw them to Yourself, that they may become instruments of Your peace rather than tools of the enemy.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power and Your love, knowing that You are a God of justice and mercy. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your kingdom come in the lives of all involved. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
