We lift up your granddaughter ### before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to bring her comfort and healing in this painful time. The Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that God sees her suffering and will bring relief.
Father, we ask You to ease the swelling in ###’s face and soothe the pain from her wisdom tooth. Give her strength as she waits for her appointment with the oral surgeon, and grant her the ability to eat and keep nourishment in her body. We pray that the medicine she is taking would work effectively without causing further discomfort. In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We claim this healing for ###, trusting that You hear our prayers and will restore her to health.
We also ask that You guide the hands of the oral surgeon and give wisdom to the medical team caring for her. May this trial draw ### closer to You, Lord, and remind her of Your faithfulness in every circumstance. We rebuke the spirit of pain and discomfort in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Hold ### in Your loving arms, Father, and let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We continue to pray for her complete recovery and trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
