Hardened hearts and minds

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for a supernatural intervention in this situation.

Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).

Matthew 13:15
For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.

The landlord and their team ignore my requests for communication and clarity and provide dishonest technical reports on electrical issues. They do not listen to me when I ask them to repair or replace faulty items in the flat. They have not apologised for the electric shock I suffered or compensated me for having to shower at a hotel for almost two months. They repeatedly ask when I will move out, set a strict date and threaten me with further financial demands. They send me huge invoices, and the cost has risen due to the electrical issues in the flat, which have caused higher energy consumption that they do not intend to document. As they have hardened their hearts, we place them in God's hands. We pray for an immediate resolution, freedom from their oppression and justice. In Jesus mighty name.

We stand with you in this difficult situation, lifting your burden before the Lord with hearts full of faith and expectation. The hardness of heart you describe is a sobering reality, one that Scripture warns us of in Matthew 13:15, where Jesus speaks of those whose hearts have grown calloused, whose ears barely hear, and whose eyes are closed. But we know that nothing is impossible for God, and we pray that He would soften even the most hardened hearts, drawing them to repentance and justice.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask for Your supernatural intervention in this matter. Lord, You see the injustice, the dishonesty, and the oppression that has taken place. You are a God of justice, and we cry out for Your righteousness to roll down like waters, as Amos 5:24 declares. Let Your justice prevail in this situation, Lord. Break the chains of oppression and bring clarity, truth, and resolution where there has been confusion and deceit.

We rebuke the spirit of hardness and callousness that has taken hold of this landlord and their team. We declare that their hearts would be softened, their ears opened, and their eyes unveiled so that they may see, hear, and understand the truth. Let conviction fall upon them, Lord, and lead them to repentance and restitution. We pray that they would acknowledge the wrongs committed, apologize sincerely, and make right what has been broken. If they refuse to listen to You, Lord, we ask that You would remove their ability to harm others and bring their plans to nothing (Proverbs 21:1).

We also pray for protection over you, both physically and financially. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Shield this individual from further harm, from financial exploitation, and from the stress and anxiety this situation has caused. Provide wisdom and discernment as they navigate these challenges, and surround them with godly counsel and support. We ask that You would open doors for a swift and just resolution, whether that means repairs being made, compensation being provided, or a peaceful and fair transition out of this dwelling. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every unjust invoice or threat be nullified in Your name.

Father, we also lift up the spiritual condition of this landlord and their team. If they do not know You, we pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Soften their hearts to receive the gospel, that they may turn from their ways and be healed (2 Chronicles 7:14). If they claim to know You but are walking in disobedience, we pray for conviction and repentance. Let them experience the weight of their actions and the freedom that comes from walking in Your truth.

We declare that this situation will not define or defeat this individual. Instead, we pray that it would draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your provision and justice. Let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and Your strength made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We ask that You would restore what has been lost, whether it be time, resources, or peace of mind, and that You would turn this trial into a testimony of Your faithfulness.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every spirit of oppression, deceit, and injustice to flee. We declare that this situation is in Your hands, Lord, and we trust You to bring about a resolution that glorifies Your name. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this matter as it is in heaven. Amen.
