Hard Walk....

[K-J]

I continue to thank God for all of your prayers and support for me and my family. This has been one of the toughest weeks of my life. I am having trouble transitioning from "battle mode" in our fight against cancer and for more days with mom, to "surrender mode" knowing the fight is over. I am patiently waiting for the healing to begin. Please pray God's peace and comfort might dwell within me, and lessen this emptiness I feel without my mother by my side. May the good Lord bless & keep you all! Thank you again.

Heavenly Father, I pray for K-J to receive Your deep comfort in her heart, I pray You draw her close to You in a special way Father. I pray You heal the wounds of separation from her mother as only You can do. I pray for helping her surrender it all in Your Hands, knowing that her mother is with You and therefore very close to her, as You are living in K-J's heart. Thank You Father for K-J and for the blessing her life is to all around her. I pray You strengthen her today and fill her with Your Love. in Jesus Name. Amen

Lord Jesus,

Be with K-J as she mourns the loss of her mother. Please put your loving arms around her and help her to heal. Lord, the loss of a mother is so hard. There is a connection there...mother/daughter... that is like no other connection on earth. Please comfort K-J when she feels the pain of separation. Knowing in our heads that we will once again reunite with our loved ones sometimes makes a slow transition to our hearts. We long to talk, to touch, to hold.. and sometimes the sadness is overwhelming. Please comfort K-J as she puts her trust in You. Blessed Savior, sometimes it seems like the night lasts forever, but You are faithful.

Psalms 30:5 ...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Lord,

I lift K-J and her family up to You in prayer. Bless her with comfort and peace of mind that her mother is at peace and that the battle is over. Let them feel your healing grace and touch enter each of their lives as the emptiness is filled with the knowledge that their mother is now with You and still with them in Spirit. AMEN

I lost my dad to cancer four years ago, I understand what you are going through, I know he is in a better place now and that is what gives me peace of mind. I do think of him often, and miss him deeply. Keeping you in my heartfelt prayers. Lord, please give KJ the strength to get through this difficult time and comfort her with your grace.
