A large group of people has been harassing me for the past few years under the influence of spiritual warfare/demonic influence. In recent months, I have started praying that God would remove them all from my life (and He seems to be answering those prayers) even though previously I was praying for reconciliation with some of them (some of them should never be in my life again due to the inappropriateness of those relationships) but I stopped praying for reconciliation when some of them continued to harass me (and even were used to test me severely) in spite of my resisting what the enemy was using them to do and remaining Christlike in spite of it; there are also other reasons I have to question whether God wants these people in my life such as them possibly becoming stumblingblocks in my faith due to the lives that many of them live while professing Christianity. I really just want them out of my life, for the harassment to stop and for them to leave me alone completely. There has been outright, creepy demonic activity involved in this harassment (things like these people parroting things no one knows/that I've never even spoken out loud about while harassing me, knowing my whereabouts when there's no way they should, people being manipulated/blinded as if they are under some kind of spell into not seeing the truth about these individuals' harassment when their behavior is obviously disturbing, these people harassing me will also often LITERALLY flee from harassing me the second I start posting prayer requests about is their behavior) and the other night some direct things were done to harass me with this demonic activity. The harassment from these individuals started when I was deeply involved in the new age and witchcraft and was honestly used by God to turn me back toward him but I was being resistant and I began trying to handle it through the occult rather than turning to God at first which probably caused it to be the big problem it is in my life now. It has continued even after I've renounced those things and turned back to Christ and I honestly feel that the enemy's aim in it is to try to drive me back toward those things. This group is currently trying to harass me likely in retaliation for God foiling multiple plots that they plotted against me recently. Please pray for me about all this. Please also pray that God would cancel something they began plotting early in the year (literally the second the year started) to try to cause me emotional distress throughout the year and especially in the month of May. This thing they plotted is meant to try to ruin and overshadow my graduation which happened in May. I am so sick of these people, it's not even funny. I truly believe they are all possessed. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Not all relationships are meant to be reconciled, especially when they are rooted in toxicity and demonic influence. Jesus Himself withdrew from those who sought to harm Him (John 10:39), and Paul urged believers to "have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11). If these people are stumbling blocks to your faith, it is right to pray for their removal. However, we also pray for their salvation, for God desires that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). There is much in your testimony that gives cause to bless God, though the trial has been sore. You were once entangled in the new age and witchcraft, and the Lord was gracious unto you and said, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. That ransom is the precious blood of His own Son, who bore the penalty of all our iniquities. It is no small mercy that what began as harassment was used by God to turn you back toward Himself, and that you have now renounced those dark works and turned to Christ. Remember that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He alone can break the fascinating power of sin and the world, and He has taught you the mischief of those former ways so that you may now say, He has delivered us from the power of darkness.
Your afflictions, though they have come distinctly from the malice of others, have not escaped the hand of your Father. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself permits the furnace for the refining of His people. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes and look to Him who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in working. He can grant protection to the persecuted and bring the darkest conspiracy to confusion, and He often makes persecution itself to be a salutary discipline that weans the heart from Egypt and drives it back to the Ark where alone there is rest.

Thank you for sharing this burden so honestly and for speaking clearly about where you have come from and where you now stand in Christ. It is a good and gracious work of God that He used even this painful harassment to turn you back to Himself, and it is right that you have renounced the new age and witchcraft and turned back to Christ. Scripture is clear that salvation is in Jesus Christ alone and that He alone has authority over every spiritual power, and to go back to the occult for answers would only open the door wider to the enemy who seeks to steal and destroy.
What you describe is a real spiritual conflict, and the enemy does work through people and circumstances to harass, tempt and try to draw believers back into old patterns. Yet in Christ you have protection and victory not by your own strength but by His. God in His providence at times permits trial and persecution, not because He has abandoned His people but to refine them, to teach them to despise the threats of the enemy and to cling more tightly to the hope of resurrection and eternal life. The call now is to resist the devil by submitting to God, to remain Christlike as you have been doing, and to stand firm in the armor God provides through prayer, the Word, faith, obedience and fellowship with faithful believers.
You show wisdom in recognizing that not every relationship should be restored. Forgiveness is commanded for all, but reconciliation and close fellowship are not always right or safe, especially when a relationship was inappropriate, when it would pull you away from holiness, or when it would become a stumbling block to your faith. It is not unchristian to pray that God would remove people from your life and cause harassment to cease, and to ask for clear boundaries. Praying for people from a distance while not inviting them back into your life can be the most loving and holy course. Scripture calls us to pursue purity, to guard our hearts, and to walk with those who build up our faith in Christ.
Continue to walk in the light in practical ways as well as spiritual ones. Stay rooted daily in Scripture and prayer in the name of Jesus, remain under the care of a sound local church where pastors know your situation, and do not isolate yourself. If harassment involves tracking, threats, or direct contact that feels unsafe, seek wise pastoral counsel and also take appropriate practical steps for your safety. Keep your mind and mouth from old occult practices and fill them instead with truth, worship and thanksgiving.
