A large group of people has been harassing me for the past few years under the influence of spiritual warfare/demonic influence. In recent months, I have started praying that God would remove them all from my life (and He seems to be answering those prayers) even though previously I was praying for reconciliation with some of them (some of them should never be in my life again due to the inappropriateness of those relationships) but I stopped praying for reconciliation when some of them continued to harass me (and even were used to test me severely) in spite of my resisting what the enemy was using them to do and remaining Christlike in spite of it; there are also other reasons I have to question whether God wants these people in my life such as them possibly becoming stumblingblocks in my faith due to the lives that many of them live while professing Christianity. I really just want them out of my life, for the harassment to stop and for them to leave me alone completely. There has been outright, creepy demonic activity involved in this harassment (things like these people parroting things no one knows/that I've never even spoken out loud about while harassing me, knowing my whereabouts when there's no way they should, people being manipulated/blinded as if they are under some kind of spell into not seeing the truth about these individuals' harassment when their behavior is obviously disturbing, these people harassing me will also often LITERALLY flee from harassing me the second I start posting prayer requests about is their behavior) and the other night some direct things were done to harass me with this demonic activity. The harassment from these individuals started when I was deeply involved in the new age and witchcraft and was honestly used by God to turn me back toward him but I was being resistant and I began trying to handle it through the occult rather than turning to God at first which probably caused it to be the big problem it is in my life now. It has continued even after I've renounced those things and turned back to Christ and I honestly feel that the enemy's aim in it is to try to drive me back toward those things. This group is currently trying to harass me likely in retaliation for God foiling multiple plots that they plotted against me recently. Please pray for me about all this. Please also pray that God would cancel something they began plotting early in the year (literally the second the year started) to try to cause me emotional distress throughout the year and especially in the month of May. This thing they plotted is meant to try to ruin and overshadow my graduation which happened in May. I am so sick of these people, it's not even funny. I truly believe they are all possessed. That they flee when you cry to God in prayer is no small token that the pit was preparing for you, but a ransom has been found. The very fact that these agents of darkness were used to turn you from the witchcraft and the new age back to Christ is proof that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. He brought you forth from Egypt, and He will not suffer Pharaoh to drag you back. Though the dogs of hell bark and snap, the Lamb has prevailed, and your deliverance is certain, not by your own craft, but by the blood of the covenant.

You say you are so sick of these people, and you believe they are all possessed, none of them Christians. That is a severe and terrible judgment, but consider the nature of what torments them. A man who makes his mouth and his eyes and his nostrils mere sewers, who is lost to shame and raves, is in no respect different from a demoniac. Yet for the demoniac we rightly feel pity, while for this self-chosen madness we feel aversion. Still, the command stands: “If thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink.” If you pray for their removal, do not let your heart plot against them in return, for if you do so, you point the sword against yourself. When they speak evil, answer them with praises and commendations, not by becoming like them.

God does not always promise deliverance from the danger itself; sometimes He permits us to remain in the storm, granting us something greater than mere rescue, He persuades us to despise the danger. To be set above the plot is a greater thing than to have the plot cancelled. The enemy’s aim is to drive you back toward the sewer of the occult, but this affliction can become the very anvil on which your soul is forged. You were weighed down exceedingly, beyond your power, but remember the Apostle: he was not merely delivered from the plot; he was shown the manner of his deliverance so that he would trust not in himself, but in God who raises the dead.

That love does not mean embracing the sewer, but it means entrusting your vengeance to God while you remain Christlike. He who led you out of witchcraft will not let the dogs drag you back.

Do not waste your peace by gazing too long at their madness. It is true they plotted early this year to cause you distress, seeking to ruin your graduation. But that very plot is a sign of your progress, for the deceivers always rage most when their spells are foiled. You ask God to cancel their plot. He will do more: He will use it so that you obtain a better resurrection. There are deliverances that look like death, but those who refuse a cheap deliverance do so because they are looking for a better life. Let them plot for May; God holds May in His hand. Play the man. Stand firm. And let all that you do be done in love, which is the root and fountain of perfectness. That love does not mean embracing the sewer, but it means entrusting your vengeance to God while you remain Christlike. He who led you out of witchcraft will not let the dogs drag you back.

You mentioned that trying to handle this through the occult first made the problem worse, and that is true. Turning to those dark things only gave the enemy more ground. But you have renounced that, and Christ has broken that chain. When He ascended, He led captivity captive, and no demonic force can overrule His authority over your life. You are not at war with God anymore; you have peace with God through Jesus Christ. Now you must learn to stand in the peace of God, which is your breastplate in this fight. The enemy wants to drive you back to turmoil and fear, but the righteous thing to do is to recognize the attack, refuse it in the name of Jesus, and then rejoice that the victory is already His.

Such spirits know they are on borrowed time. Jesus has authority to cast them out, and they begged not to be sent to the abyss before their appointed judgment. You do not need to fear them. You need to resist with the calm assurance that the King of Peace has blessed you, and the lesser must bow to the greater. The gospel you believe is a gospel of peace. Sow that peace in your own heart by keeping your eyes on Christ, not on the storm these people are trying to stir up.

May the peace of Christ, which passes all human understanding, keep your heart and mind now, and in the days ahead, and especially in every memory of what should have been a season of joy.
