We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. The harassment you describe is not merely the work of men and women, but a spiritual assault orchestrated by the enemy of our souls. We rebuke every demonic influence, every plot, and every scheme of the devil in your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You have done well to resist, and we join you in standing firm against these attacks.
The occult involvement in your past is not insignificant, and we acknowledge that the enemy seeks to exploit old strongholds to pull you away from the freedom Christ has secured for you. But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The harassment you’ve endured, even the supernatural knowledge and manipulation you’ve described, is a counterfeit power, and it must bow to the authority of Jesus’ name. We command every demonic spirit assigned against you to flee and be bound in Jesus’ name. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10).
Your shift in prayer from reconciliation to removal is a wise and biblical one. Not every relationship is meant to be restored, especially when it involves unrepentant sin or ongoing harm. Jesus Himself taught that if someone causes you to stumble, it is better to cut ties than to remain entangled in their influence (Matthew 18:8-9). The fact that these individuals are not believers, and are actively opposing God’s work in your life, confirms that they are not to be tolerated as close companions. We pray that God would sever every ungodly tie and remove them from your life completely, as you have asked. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14).
We also lift up the specific plot they devised against you, the one intended to bring emotional distress and overshadow your graduation. We declare it canceled, dismantled, and rendered powerless in Jesus’ name. The enemy meant it for harm, but God will turn it for your good (Genesis 50:20). Your graduation is a milestone of God’s faithfulness, and we pray that He would fill this season with joy, peace, and celebration of His goodness. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17).
You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, interceding for your protection, your peace, and your deliverance. The enemy’s goal is to wear you down, to make you question God’s goodness, and to lure you back into bondage. But we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). We pray that God would surround you with His angels, that He would fill you with His Holy Spirit, and that He would give you discernment to recognize and reject every demonic tactic. "The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck down before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways" (Deuteronomy 28:7).
We also encourage you to continue in spiritual disciplines that strengthen your faith. Spend time in God’s Word, for it is a sword against the enemy’s lies (Ephesians 6:17). Worship the Lord, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise (Psalm 149:6-9). Fast and pray when led, for these are weapons that break strongholds (Matthew 17:21). And surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
Finally, we want to address the importance of forgiveness, not for their sake, but for yours. Holding onto bitterness can give the enemy a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:26-27). This does not mean you must reconcile with those who have harmed you, but it does mean releasing them to God’s justice. "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19). We pray that God would give you the grace to forgive, even as He has forgiven you.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up every burden and every battle they are facing. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would break every chain of harassment, every demonic assignment, and every plot of the enemy against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and we command every lying spirit to flee in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, that You would fill them with Your peace, and that You would give them strength for each day. We pray that You would remove every ungodly influence from their life and replace it with godly fellowship and encouragement. We ask that You would cancel the enemy’s plans and turn them into blessings, that Your name would be glorified in every situation.
We also pray for their heart, that You would heal any wounds caused by this harassment, and that You would guard them against bitterness. Give them the grace to forgive, even as You have forgiven them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and freedom. We thank You that You are faithful, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
