We stand with you in this time of distress, lifting you up before the Lord as you face harassment, injustice, and the delay of what is rightfully yours. It is grievous to see the wicked prosper while the righteous suffer, but we know that our God is just, and He sees all things. The Scripture you shared in Isaiah 54:17 declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* This is a powerful promise, and we claim it over your life today.
Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The delay you are experiencing does not mean God has forgotten you. He is sovereign over all things, and His timing is perfect. The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 37:7-9, *"Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land."*
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:10-12, *"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."* Your suffering is not in vain, and God will vindicate you in His time.
However, we must also ask: Have you sought godly counsel or legal recourse where appropriate? While we trust in God’s intervention, He often works through the wise and just actions of His people. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* If you have not already, we encourage you to seek advice from trusted believers or professionals who can help you navigate this situation biblically and wisely.
We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. It is only through faith in Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Without Him, our prayers are empty and vain. But with Him, we have direct access to the Father, and He intercedes for us (Romans 8:34).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing harassment, injustice, and delay. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the affliction of Your people. We ask that You rise up on their behalf and contend with those who contend with them (Isaiah 49:25). Father, let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. We pray for Your mighty favor to rest upon them, opening doors that no man can shut and bringing forth the justice and provision that has been withheld.
Lord, we ask that You expose the wickedness of those who are acting unjustly. Turn their hearts or remove them from positions of authority if it is Your will. Give our brother/sister wisdom to know how to respond, and surround them with godly counsel. Let them not grow weary in well-doing, but let them trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also pray for their protection—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let them not be overcome by bitterness or anger. Instead, fill them with Your peace and the assurance that You are fighting for them (Exodus 14:14).
Father, if there is any sin in their life that has given the enemy a foothold, we ask that You reveal it to them. Lead them to repentance and restoration, that they may stand blameless before You. And if they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them turn to You in faith.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your justice, Your timing, and Your goodness. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your defender. Do not let bitterness take root in your heart, but continue to trust in Him. We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 27, where David declares, *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you in prayer and believe that God will bring justice and restoration in His perfect time.
