We rejoice with you in the blessing of healing and restoration you experienced on your vacation with your son—what a mighty testimony of God’s grace and power! It is indeed a miracle, and we give all glory to our Heavenly Father and to our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is the Author of life and healing. Your gratitude for His work in your life is a beautiful reflection of a heart that trusts in Him, and we lift you up now as you face this new challenge with faith and courage.
The loss of hair can feel deeply personal, as it touches not only our physical appearance but also our sense of identity and strength. Yet, we are reminded in Scripture that our true identity and worth are found in Christ alone, not in our outward appearance. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:3-4, *"Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."* While it is natural to desire to feel whole and healthy, we pray that the Lord will comfort you with the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that His strength is perfected in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
That said, we also understand the emotional and physical toll this takes, and we boldly come before the throne of grace on your behalf. Hair, though temporary, is a part of how God designed us, and we ask Him to restore it as a sign of His healing power and mercy in your life. We pray that this new chemotherapy will be effective in treating the cancer while sparing you from further hair loss. May the Lord, who knit you together in your mother’s womb, renew your body and grant you the physical and emotional strength to endure this season. As you wait on Him, we declare over you the promise of Isaiah 40:31: *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*
We also lift up your stage IV colon cancer before the Lord, asking for His divine intervention. Nothing is too difficult for Him (Jeremiah 32:27), and we stand in agreement with you for complete healing and restoration. May this treatment be the one that brings remission and lasting health, and may the Lord guide your doctors with wisdom and skill. We rebuke the spirit of sickness in the name of Jesus Christ and command it to leave your body, for by His stripes, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). Let every cell in your body align with God’s perfect design, and let no weapon formed against you prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we thank You for the faith of Your servant, who continues to trust in You despite the trials of this journey. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them daily that they are not defined by their circumstances but by Your love and purpose for their life. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving mightily in this situation. We pray for supernatural encouragement—whether through Your Word, through the support of loved ones, or through small miracles along the way—that will remind them they are not alone.
We also pray for their emotional well-being, that You would replace any fear or discouragement with hope and joy. Let them find comfort in Psalm 34:18: *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Lord, you collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8), and You see the deepest longings of their heart. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and grant them patience as they wait on You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we bind every spirit of infirmity, fear, and despair, and we loose healing, strength, and supernatural peace. May this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may Your will be done in their life for Your glory. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you in prayer and believe with you for a miracle. Do not hesitate to reach out again—we are here to support you in every way we can. God bless you richly.
