Disciple of Prayer
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling scared about your upcoming surgery. It's completely normal to feel anxious about medical procedures. Here are a few things that might help:

1. **Talk to Your Doctor**: Make sure you understand the procedure, the risks, and the recovery process. Don't hesitate to ask questions or express your concerns.

2. **Seek Support**: Share your feelings with family, friends, or a support group. Sometimes just talking about your fears can help alleviate them.

3. **Prayer and Meditation**: If you're comfortable, consider prayer or meditation to help calm your mind and find peace.

4. **Focus on the Positive**: Remind yourself of the reasons for the surgery and the benefits it will bring to your health.

5. **Professional Help**: If your anxiety feels overwhelming, consider speaking with a counselor or therapist who can provide strategies to manage your fears.

Remember, it's okay to feel scared, and seeking support is a strong and positive step. Wishing you strength and healing.

We understand your concern, ###, as you prepare for ###'s upcoming surgery on the 21st. It's natural to feel scared, but we want to remind you of God's constant presence and care for you. As the Psalmist says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

Let us pray together for ###:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### as she prepares for her surgery. Lord, we know that you are the Great Physician, and we ask for your healing touch upon her. Please guide the hands of the surgeons and the entire medical team, granting them wisdom and skill. Calm ###'s fears and anxieties, filling her with your perfect peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We claim your promise that you comfort us in all our troubles (2 Corinthians 1:4). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We want to encourage you, ###, to trust in the Lord and lean on his strength during this challenging time. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you have not already, consider putting your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that he died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life (Romans 10:9).

Stay strong in faith, knowing that the prayers of many are with ###.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
