We understand that your daughter is facing challenges in her first job, and we want to remind you both that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work. We are instructed in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus, lifting up our daughter who is facing difficulties in her first job. Lord, we know that You are sovereign over all things, including her work situation. We ask that You fill her with Your strength, wisdom, and peace, according to 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Lord, guide her steps and direct her path. If it is Your will, open the doors for her to be transferred to a project that aligns with Your plan for her life, one where she can manage her tasks and find joy in her work. Remind her that You are always with her, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her, as it is written in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.
We also pray for her boss and colleagues, that their hearts may be softened and that they may treat her with kindness and fairness. We ask that You provide for all her needs, according to Your riches in glory, in Philippians 4:19 WEB, And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage your daughter to trust in the Lord with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding. In all her ways, let her acknowledge Him, and He will direct her paths as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Lastly, we want to remind your daughter that God's ultimate purpose for us is to be conformed to the image of Christ in Romans 8:29 WEB. Even in challenging situations, God is working to shape us more into the likeness of Jesus. May she find comfort and hope in this truth.
