We understand your concern and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance. It is wise to want to be fully effective in your job responsibilities, and it is important to take care of your health first. God is not unconcerned about our physical needs, and we can trust Him to provide for us.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is seeking Your healing touch and provision. We pray for Your healing power to manifest in their life, that every discomfort and shortness of breath be replaced with Your divine health. We ask for Your guidance and provision as they navigate this season of waiting for a new job. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for them, and we ask that You will open the right doors at the right time.
In the meantime, we pray for patience, wisdom, and peace. We know that You are a God who provides. In Jesus name, Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the following scriptures: God is the source of our health and strength. Psalm 103:2-3 Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.
God has a plan and purpose for each of us, and He will provide for our needs according to His riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 says: My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Regarding your health, consider this a time of rest and preparation. It is okay to take the time to get yourself well before taking the big leap of faith. Trusting God for your health includes allowing His healing and also using the medical community to seek answers, which you are doing by waiting for further testing.
Do not feel bad for taking care of your health first. While it is true that we should be responsible employees, your future employers should also value an employee who takes care of their health seriously. You do not need to feel bad about it.
We are reminded of the importance of trusting in God's timing. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says: He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that men don't find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.
Therefore, trust in His timing and be patient with yourself and God. This time will pass, and He has a plan for you.
If you have not already, take this time to also build your relationship with Jesus Christ. He came so that we could have life and have it abundantly. He is the source of our healing and our provision. If you have not already made a commitment to Him, we encourage you to do so. Romans 10:9-10,13: because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Finally, let us also remember the importance of casting our anxieties on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says: casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Trust that God cares for you and will provide for you as you wait on Him.
