Disciple of Prayer
Greetings, I would like to open up and confess or tell about what I have been going through before God and before you man or woman of God reading this. My humble request is that you pray for me. Pardon me, but it's going to be a very long read, but there are 3 major issues that I want to highlight.... My names are ### and I live in ###. In regards to my request, I have a case pending in court. It's related to an incident that happened at my former place of work where a substantial amount of cash got lost and I was involved. I was arrested and hauled to court to face charges of stealing by servant. I was in jail for about 2 weeks then I was released on bail terms. I am to appear again in court on 8th October 2019. Of note is that the case is of 2017 and there has been no progress so far; it's just been one adjournment after another. During this time, I came to build a relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I have been praying every day and reading the scriptures and I believe the Lord has been good to me and even my release from jail then was sanctioned by the good Lord himself. I have known God's abundant love and mercy throughout my life. I grew up an orphan having lost my parents when I was very young. Now I am ### years old. All through my life, God has guided and provided for me; he has been my protector and I can bear testimony of the many instances and situations he has uplifted me. I'd like to make a humble request to you and the prayer warriors to put me in fervent prayers as I am facing this court case and as I am due to appear in court. I believe the Lord is my light, salvation, and strength and I faithfully believe that he shall provide victory for me. Kindly pray for me, pray for a just and a favorable outcome to my case, pray for forgiveness, pray for strength so I am not overcome with fear and anxiety when I am facing this case, pray for my family and friends, pray for the judges and attorneys. I thank thee, o Lord, I believe my prayers are answered in Jesus Name... Amen.
My Second issue has to do with my marriage life. I am married to a lady called ###. We have been married close to ### years now. The tragedy of the marriage is that for all this time we have never been blessed with a child. The marriage was tumultuous at some point, but somehow after a breakup or two, we did manage to get back together. I paid dowry and fulfilled all the traditional marriage customs. Now we tried many ways to remedy our situation of not being able to get children; we have tried many ways including herbs, concoctions, medicine, you name it, but I still believe only God can give us a breakthrough. My wife was diagnosed with major fibroids that had created a fallopian tube blockage hence she has not been able to conceive. She underwent surgery last year to remove the fibroids. At this point, she also got very sick and was admitted in hospital for quite some time. Eventually, by the grace of God, she was healed and got discharged, though she had a problem of excessive bleeding during her menses and at some point, she lost so much blood she had to be readmitted to be transfused. So far, we still haven't been able to conceive and get a child. Her younger sister, who is married now, has 3 kids and the very youngest sister is pregnant as at right now. It's a shame upon her and me, but I have stood by her through all this and never walked out on her. I am always reminding myself of the fact that God's time is always the best time. Please take our pleas before God and pray for us.
Last but not least is another prayer request for myself. At mid this year, given that I had been through so much, I got sick. Initially, it just started like a normal fever but it got worse. I had to be hospitalized. I was told I had extremely high blood pressure and I had developed hypertension. I was in the hospital for about a week. At the time of being hospitalized, my blood pressure was at 190/73, which was very alarming. The doctors treated me while I was hospitalized for about a week. I got better, was discharged, but I still have pressure problems. I was told it's a condition that I just have to manage and live with. Please pray for me so I can get fully healed and that I will not have to go through a similar predicament of being hospitalized. Apart from that, I am doing business now. Please pray for me that I will prosper and enlarge my territories just not for my well-being. Thand God bless.
