A Mighty Plea

Martyrs of the Needle
True dignity comes from honest work, and it calls every woman to embrace self-reliance and purpose.
We join with you in bringing our nation and the coming 2026 midterm elections before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, and we thank you for your passion to pray without ceasing for our country.

We hear your heart for a great turnout of voters who will stand for righteousness, life, family, and biblical truth, and we agree that God is sovereign over the affairs of nations. We are reminded that Daniel 2:21 says He changes the times and the seasons, He removes kings and sets up kings, and that Romans 13:1 teaches that there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are ordained by God. We also take to heart 1 Timothy 2:1-2 which urges that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

We share your desire to see righteousness exalt our nation, for Proverbs 14:34 tells us Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people, and Psalm 33:12 reminds us Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice as Proverbs 29:2 says, so we pray not merely for a color or a party, but for leaders at every level who will fear God, love truth, uphold justice, protect life, and honor His Word.

We gently encourage you as we pray together to frame our desire for a great turnout in a way that honors the Lord's call to peace and lawful participation. When you speak of flooding and storming the precincts, we understand your zeal, and we join you in praying that millions will be moved to participate lawfully, peacefully, and honestly, with integrity at every precinct, and without intimidation or strife. We pray that every citizen will be free to vote according to conscience, and we pray that those who may now disagree would have their hearts opened to truth, rather than simply being outnumbered, for God desires that all would come to the knowledge of the truth.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up our nation to You. We ask for Your mercy and Your will to be done in the 2026 midterms on November 3 and in every election leading up to that day. We ask that You stir the hearts of Your people to engage, to pray, to vote, and to stand for righteousness with courage and love. Grant that there would be a great and lawful turnout of voters who cherish Your principles, and let that turnout be marked by honesty, order, and peace at every voting precinct across America. Guard the process from fraud, confusion, and violence, and protect every voter and every poll worker. Raise up leaders who will govern with wisdom, integrity, and reverence for You, and remove those who would lead our nation away from Your ways. We pray for those who currently oppose Your truth, that You would open their eyes and draw them toward righteousness and life. Let Your will prevail over every plan and purpose, and let our trust remain not in a wave or a party but in You alone, while we faithfully do our part as citizens of both heaven and earth. We thank You that You hear our prayers when we pray continually and we trust Your perfect timing and answer. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep praying daily as you have purposed, while also resting in God's sovereignty and continuing to share truth in love with those around you, encouraging others to register, to vote, and to seek the Lord for our land. We will continue to stand with you in prayer that God will be glorified in our nation and that His righteousness will prevail.

We hear how deeply you care about our nation and the 2026 midterms, and we appreciate your commitment to keep bringing this before the Lord day after day. Wanting to see our communities engaged and our elections marked by integrity is a good burden to carry in prayer.

We want to stand with you in that, trusting that God hears every prayer and cares about our nation far more than we do. As we keep praying, we find it helps to anchor our prayers not only in what we hope to see, but in asking for God's will to be done, for wisdom for every voter, for peace in our communities and at the polls, and for honesty and clarity in the whole process. He invites us to seek Him first, even as we ask for specific outcomes.

One simple way to keep going is to set aside a brief time each day to pray for our country, for those who lead and those who will be chosen to lead, and for neighbors and fellow citizens to participate thoughtfully and peacefully. If you feel led, you might also encourage others around you to vote and to do so with respect for one another.

Father, we lift our nation to You. We ask for Your mercy and wisdom over this election season, for peace and integrity at every precinct, and for Your will to be done across our land. Guide voters and leaders, guard our communities, and help us trust You with the outcome. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer shows a deep concern for the nation and a desire to see righteousness prevail, and it is good that you bring the burdens of your heart before God, for He hears those who cry unto God most high, unto God that performs all things for us.

Yet the Scriptures teach us to pray with a higher aim than the triumph of any party or color. We are taught to pray for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Our first and chief prayer must be that Christ be exalted, that sinners be saved through His blood alone, and that His kingdom come.

You go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. That is the counsel of wisdom. If you are burdened for the election, then do what is right before God, vote as conscience before the Lord directs, act with honesty and love toward your neighbor, even toward those who differ with you, and then rest in the shadow of His wings. Our God is not served by asking Him to swamp or overwhelm others, but by asking Him to show mercy and truth to all, to restrain evil, to grant justice, and to raise up men and women who will fear Him.

Where God begins to work, He does not ask us to finish, He always completes His own work. Therefore trust not in a wave or a flood of votes, but in the living God. Where we trust in man or in numbers we will find no sure refuge, but those that have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him. If you can say, I got my hope straight from the throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ, then you have that which no election can give and no election can take away.

So let your praying be shaped thus, not that one party would leave no room for another, but that the Lord would have room in every heart. Pray that God would grant repentance and faith through Christ alone, for there is no other salvation. Pray that He would grant peace in our precincts and honesty in our counts, that violence and deceit would be far from us. Pray that He would give wisdom to all who vote and to all who are chosen to serve, that they might do justly and love mercy and walk humbly with God. And pray, Thy will be done, for though clouds may surround us, our God is our light, though storms rage around us, our God is our might.

We will join you in praying for our land, not for a partisan storm, but for a true revival of holiness and faith, for present peace and future perfection in Christ, and that whether men vote red or blue, many more would be found to vote for Christ with their whole hearts, trusting Him alone for salvation.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your earnest desire to bring the coming election before God is good, and it is right to pray for our nation.

Scripture teaches us to pray for all people and for those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness, and it tells us that God desires all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Our deepest hope is not seen in a political outcome, for hope that is seen is not hope. The good things God has promised are great and eternal, and we wait for them with patience. For that reason we are taught not to place our trust in uncertain things like riches or power or numbers, which quickly pass away, but to place our hope firmly in God who alone is unchanging.

To pray only that one group of voters would overwhelm another and leave no room for them is not the mind of Christ, who calls us to love our neighbors, even those who disagree with us, and to seek justice, truth, and mercy for all. Anxiety and striving for dominance can choke the word and make us unfruitful, even in our duties as citizens. What God desires from us in this season is not a storm of partisanship, but hearts that are humble, that seek His will above our own, and that trust Him with the outcome.

So let us pray together in a way that honors Him, and continue faithfully in prayer, not demanding our own will but asking for His will to be done:

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we thank You that salvation is found in Him alone. We ask for Your mercy on our nation. Grant us a peaceful election, guard truth and honesty in every precinct, and raise up leaders who will fear You, love justice, and serve with integrity. Turn the hearts of all people to Yourself, help us to love one another and to seek the good of our neighbors, and give Your people patience and courage to live faithfully whatever the result. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Keep praying each day, but pray with patience and with your hope set on heaven, trusting that God hears those who trust in Him and will not forsake them. Use your freedom to vote and to encourage others to do so peacefully and lawfully, and above all let your life show the hope you have in Christ, which is far better than any earthly victory.
