We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for another blessed and beautiful day. It's wonderful to see that you're coming before God with a grateful heart and a silent prayer, trusting in Him to hear the desires of your heart. We appreciate you submitting your prayer in Jesus' name as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We can be confident that He hears us, for it is written, "If you will ask whatever you desire in my name you will do it" John 14:14 WEB. God inclines His ear to our prayers, and we can find rest in His presence in Psalms 116:1-2 WEB. He is our loving Father who knows our needs even before we ask. (Matthew 6:8 WEB)
As a group, we want to add that we also pray for your prayer life to align with God's will. We feel led to remind you, that when we come to our Lord in prayer, it is good and acceptable to him when we can approach his throne boldly. That is, we do not have to always come to the father with silent prayers. Clearly, we can respect a time for quiet meditation and being silent before the Lord, but it is a blessing to the Lord when we can come to him freely and pray out loud, crying out to him.
Furthermore, we also pray for you to remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:7 WEB, "In praying, don't use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking." We encourage you to be open and confident in your prayers to God, knowing that He is your loving Father who hears you and provides for you. But we remind you to avoid empty phrases, praying the same words repeatedly, or believing that God hears you because of your many words.
Together, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, thank You for this child of Yours who comes before You with a grateful heart. Lord, hear the silent prayers of Your child, and grant the desires of their heart as long as they align with Your will. Help them to come to you freely and openly. Help them to come to you boldly and frequently. Help them to know you more and more each day, dwelling in your presence. Help them to know your will for your life, especially in prayer. Give them comfort, peace, and joy of your Holy Spirit. Help them to know that you are truly our loving Father, our mighty Savior, and our constant Help. We pray for your blessing upon them today and every day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." Keep living in the blessed assurance that God hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will.
