We hear your cry for deliverance, rest, and peace, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. Your gratitude for the presence of Jesus Christ in your life is a beautiful testimony of faith, and we rejoice with you in the abundant life He offers. The attacks of the enemy are relentless, but we know that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The evil one seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We rebuke the spirit of torment and sleeplessness that has plagued you, declaring in the name of Jesus that it must flee. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you find rest in Him, for He invites you to come to Him when you are weary and burdened, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
Father, we ask that You intervene in this battle for rest and peace. Strengthen this dear one with Your might, and let Your angels encamp around them to protect and minister to them (Psalm 91:11). We declare that the enemy’s tactics will not prevail, and that the name of Jesus will be exalted in this situation. Grant them the rest they so desperately need, both physically and spiritually, and let their sleep be sweet and undisturbed (Proverbs 3:24).
We also lift up the struggles at work. Lord, we ask that You expose any deceit or backstabbing and bring it to light. Let Your justice prevail, and grant this one favor in their workplace. Provide extra work and opportunities as they seek to honor You in their labor. May their coming and going be safe, and may Your hand of protection be upon them and their loved ones at all times.
We acknowledge that sin can open doors to the enemy’s attacks, and we appreciate the humility in asking for forgiveness. If there are any unconfessed sins or areas where the enemy has gained a foothold, we pray for conviction and repentance. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin, and if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7, 9). We encourage you to examine your heart and walk in the light, resisting the devil so that he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for this beloved child of Yours. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, their mind, and their sleep. Let Your presence fill every area where the enemy has sought to bring chaos. We declare that the enemy’s plans are frustrated, and that this one will walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly community—believers who can stand with them in prayer, offer encouragement, and speak life into their situation. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Remind them daily of Your love, Your faithfulness, and Your power to deliver.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May His name be glorified in this situation, and may this dear one experience the fullness of His deliverance, rest, and peace. Amen.
