We hear your cry for deliverance, mercy, and peace, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. Your acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord and your reliance on His name is a powerful foundation, for it is written, *"For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). The spiritual attacks you describe are real, and we take authority over them in the mighty name of Jesus, for *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4).
The sensation of your flesh feeling as though it were on fire is deeply troubling, and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your body, mind, and spirit. The Lord does not afflict His children with torment, but the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Stand firm in the armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—which is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:10-18). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
You ask what to do, and the Word gives clear instruction: *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:7-8). Begin by examining your life for any open doors to the enemy—unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, bitterness, or involvement in occult practices, even unknowingly. The enemy cannot dwell where the light of Christ shines. Confess any sin, renounce any ties to darkness, and fill your home and heart with worship, prayer, and the Word. Consider fasting as a way to humble yourself before God and seek His face (2 Chronicles 7:14).
We also pray for your physical and financial needs, for the Lord is our provider. You ask for help with your house expenses and a new lease, and we believe God will make a way where there seems to be no way. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Trust in His timing and provision, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We pray for favor in your job applications and for doors of opportunity to open wide. The Lord goes before you and will give you success (Proverbs 3:6).
For the peace and rest you seek, remember the words of Jesus: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls"* (Matthew 11:28-29). The rest you desire is found in Him alone. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Deliverer and Strong Tower. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning. Lord, we stand in agreement with Your Word and declare that [###] is covered by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression that has come against them. We break every chain and stronghold in the name of Jesus, and we command every lying spirit to flee. Father, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter, Counselor, and Helper. Grant them wisdom and discernment to recognize and resist the enemy’s schemes.
Lord, we ask for Your provision in their financial needs. Open doors of opportunity for work and favor with those who can help them secure a new lease. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Give them strength and peace as they wait on You, and let them not grow weary in well-doing. We pray for supernatural rest and peace to flood their soul, mind, and body. Let them experience the rest that only You can give, just as You promised.
Father, we also pray for favor in their case. Let Your justice and mercy prevail, and grant them wisdom to navigate this situation. Surround them with Your angels for protection and guidance. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
Continue to stand on God’s promises, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated. Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and do not be afraid. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and you will not be shaken.
