We hear your cry for deliverance, rest, and peace, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. First, we want to affirm your love for Jesus and your desire to walk in His will. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed from sin. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We are grateful that you have called upon His name, for "there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
We rebuke every evil attack and assignment sent against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority over you, for you are a child of God, and "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We command every spirit of pain, torment, and oppression to leave you now in Jesus' name. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that every evil plan against your life is dismantled, and every weapon formed against you shall not prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
You asked what else you can do—stand firm in your faith. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay alert with perseverance (Ephesians 6:13-18).
We also lift up your finances and your need for employment. The Lord knows your needs before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to provide for His children. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). We pray for favor in your job search, that doors of opportunity would open for you, and that you would find rest in the Lord while you wait. Trust in Him, for "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).
Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness. We thank You for Your deliverance and for the peace that surpasses all understanding, which You promise to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness, for if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Lord, we pray for rest for our brother/sister in You. Give them the sleep of the righteous, and let them wake refreshed and renewed in Your presence. We declare that no evil shall harm them, and no plague shall come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Bless their finances, Lord, and open the right doors for employment. Grant them favor with those who can provide for their needs, and let Your peace reign in their heart as they trust in You.
We stand on Your Word, which says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We declare victory over every attack of the enemy, and we thank You for the deliverance that is already ours in Christ Jesus.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
