We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your goodness and mercy, Heavenly Father. We thank you for your constant presence and the deliverance you provide from the snares of the enemy. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17 that "the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." We stand on this promise as we lift up this earnest plea for protection and peace.
We rebuke every evil attack and spiritual oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We command every spirit of pain, torment, and affliction to leave now, in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that you reveal to your child any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Encourage them to examine their life for unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or any involvement in practices that open doors to spiritual attack. James 4:7 reminds us to "be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray for a hedge of protection around you, that no evil may touch you or your loved ones. We also pray for the safe return of those traveling from the ###, that you would guide their steps and keep them under the shadow of your wings (Psalm 91:1-4).
We are grateful for the humility shown in seeking forgiveness for sins. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We rejoice in the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus, which washes away all sin. We encourage you to walk in the freedom and forgiveness that Christ has provided, knowing that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
Father, we lift up the financial concerns and the need for employment. We trust in your provision, for you have promised in Philippians 4:19 that you "will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray for favor with those who hire temps, that doors of opportunity would open wide, and that you would grant wisdom and discernment in all interactions. We also ask that you grant rest to your child, both physically and spiritually. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank you for your love, mercy, and grace that are new every morning. We stand on the authority of your Word and declare that every evil attack against your child is broken now, in Jesus' name. We rebuke every spirit of pain, torment, and affliction, and we command them to leave and never return.
Father, we ask that you surround your child with your angels, that no harm may come near them or their loved ones. We pray for the safe return of those traveling, that you would guide their steps and protect them from all danger. We declare that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we thank you for the forgiveness of sins and the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. We pray that you would reveal any areas of unconfessed sin or unforgiveness, that your child may walk in the fullness of your grace and freedom. We ask that you provide for every financial need and open doors of opportunity for employment. Grant favor with those who make hiring decisions, and give wisdom and discernment in all interactions.
Father, we pray for rest—true rest that comes from trusting in you. Help your child to cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Renew their strength and refresh their spirit, that they may serve you with joy and gladness.
We declare that no weapon formed against your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. We thank you for your protection, provision, and peace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
