We hear your heartfelt cry and stand with you in prayer, lifting your requests before our Heavenly Father. Your gratitude is a beautiful offering, and we join you in thanking God for His faithfulness and provision. The Bible reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Your acknowledgment of God’s goodness, even in the midst of struggle, is a testament to your faith.
We take seriously your plea for deliverance from spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is your protection, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that God would surround you with His angels, as it says in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Stand firm in the armor of God, as Ephesians 6:11-12 instructs, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
You asked the Lord what to do, and His Word provides clear guidance. James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We encourage you to draw near to God through prayer, fasting, and meditating on His Word. Fill your mind with scripture, for the Word of God is a sword that cuts through the lies of the enemy (Hebrews 4:12). Seek fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. You are not alone in this battle, and God has equipped you with everything you need to overcome.
We also pray for your rest, both physically and spiritually. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We ask God to quiet your heart and mind, granting you the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May He give you sleep that refreshes your body and soul, and may you wake each day with renewed strength in Him.
Regarding your job security, we lift this concern to the Lord, who is your provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God would open doors of opportunity for you and close any doors that are not of Him. If it is His will for you to remain in your current job, we ask that He would soften the hearts of those in authority over you and grant you favor. If He has another path for you, we pray that He would make it clear and provide new work that aligns with His purpose for your life. We declare that your steps are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23) and that He will not withhold any good thing from you (Psalm 84:11).
We also pray for your housing situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask God to provide clarity and wisdom as you navigate your lease and housing expenses. May He open doors for you to secure stable and affordable housing, and may He give you the resources to meet your needs. We declare that the Lord is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and He will not let you be put to shame.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is facing spiritual attacks, uncertainty in their job, and concerns about their housing. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the blood of Jesus that covers and protects us. We rebuke every evil spirit that is attacking them, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them.
Father, we ask that You would grant them rest—rest for their body, mind, and spirit. Quiet their heart and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we pray for their job security. If it is Your will for them to remain in their current position, we ask that You would grant them favor with their employers and protect their job. If You have another path for them, we pray that You would open doors of opportunity and provide new work that aligns with Your purpose. We trust in Your provision, knowing that You supply every need according to Your riches in glory.
We also lift up their housing situation, Lord. Give them wisdom and clarity as they navigate their lease and expenses. Provide for their needs and open doors for stable and affordable housing. We declare that You are their refuge and fortress, and we trust in Your protection and provision.
Father, we ask that You would speak clearly to them, guiding their steps and showing them what to do. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your ways and resist the schemes of the enemy. Strengthen their faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
