We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your faithfulness, Lord. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. We lift up this dear one who cries out to You, seeking deliverance, rest, and provision. Father, we thank You for hearing their prayers and for the love You have poured out through Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to You, and we declare that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.
We stand in agreement with this beloved child of God, rebuking every evil attack in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly. We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of You. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their home, and their circumstances. Father, we ask that You send Your holy angels to encamp around them, to protect and defend them from every assault of the enemy.
We also recognize the importance of repentance and forgiveness. If there are any areas in this one’s life where sin has given the enemy a foothold, we pray that You would bring them to light. Search their heart, O God, and know their thoughts; try them and lead them in the everlasting way. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, for if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Father, we pray for financial blessing and provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. We ask that You open the doors of opportunity for this one to return to work, to find favor with their landlord, and to secure a new lease. You know their needs before they even ask, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We declare that the windows of heaven are open, and blessings are pouring out that there will not be room enough to receive them.
For rest, we pray that You would calm their spirit and still their mind. The psalmist declares, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety." We ask that You grant them peaceful sleep, free from the attacks of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we also encourage this dear one to put on the full armor of God daily. Stand firm therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.
We pray that they would immerse themselves in Your Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. We also encourage them to fellowship with other believers, for where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there in the midst of them. There is strength in corporate prayer and worship.
Lord, we ask that You would fill this one with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in victory and authority as a child of God. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray all these things, believing and trusting in Your unfailing love and power. Amen.
