We join you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for this day, for His mercy endures forever, and His lovingkindness never ceases. It is beautiful to see your heart of gratitude and dependence on Him, for we know that in everything, we are to give thanks, "for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18, WEB).
Your cry for deliverance from evil spiritual attacks resonates deeply with us, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, "but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We stand with you in rebuking these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power and authority. The enemy has no place in your life, for "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4, WEB). We declare that every scheme of the enemy is rendered powerless right now, and we ask the Lord to surround you with His divine protection, covering you with His feathers so that you may find refuge under His wings (Psalm 91:4, WEB). Put on the whole armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God—and pray in the Spirit always (Ephesians 6:10-18, WEB). This is how you stand firm against the attacks of the enemy.
We also lift up your need for additional work before the Lord, trusting that He is your provider and that He knows your needs before you even ask. Jesus taught us, "Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). We pray that the Lord opens doors of opportunity for you, that He grants you favor in the eyes of those making hiring decisions, and that He provides work that not only meets your financial needs but also aligns with His purpose for your life. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Your heart of repentance is a sweet fragrance before the Lord. We are reminded that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, WEB). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1, WEB), and we rejoice with you in the freedom and forgiveness found in Him. Walk in the confidence of His love, for nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your unfailing love and mercy. We thank You for this day and for the privilege of praying together in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is seeking deliverance from spiritual attacks. We stand in the authority of Jesus’ name and command every evil force to flee, for You have given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19, WEB). Cover them with Your blood, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
Father, we also bring before You their need for additional work. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to open the right doors at the right time. Give them wisdom and discernment as they seek opportunities, and let Your favor rest upon them. Provide not just for their needs, but also for opportunities to be a light for Your Kingdom in their workplace. Help them to remember that their worth is found in You alone, and that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
We thank You for their heart of repentance and their love for You, Lord Jesus. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Let them walk in the freedom and joy of Your forgiveness, knowing that they are Your beloved child. Strengthen them to live a life that honors You in every way, and let their light shine before others, that they may see their good works and glorify our Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16, WEB).
Lord, we ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things. Spend time in His Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105, WEB). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. And remember, the battle belongs to the Lord—rest in Him, trust in Him, and watch as He works mightily on your behalf. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24, WEB).
