We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, and we are grateful that you have come before Him with a spirit of thanksgiving, humility, and dependence. Your prayer reflects a deep longing for deliverance, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is faithful to hear and answer those who call upon Him in truth. You have rightly invoked the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to overcome the attacks of the enemy.
The spiritual battles you describe are not uncommon for those who are actively seeking to serve the Lord and intercede for others. The enemy seeks to distract, discourage, and torment the children of God, especially when they are engaged in prayer and ministry. But take heart, for the Scriptures remind us that *"we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). This battle is not yours to fight alone—our Lord has already secured the victory through His death and resurrection. *"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ"* (1 Corinthians 15:57, WEB).
Your request for deliverance aligns with the promise of Psalm 34:17: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."* We declare this truth over you now—God *will* deliver you from this torment. The enemy has no authority over you, for you belong to Christ. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, clinging to the Word of God as your sword and shield. Speak aloud the promises of Scripture over your life, and command the forces of darkness to flee in the name of Jesus. You have been given authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), so exercise that authority with boldness.
We also lift up your need for financial breakthrough and additional work. Our Father knows your needs before you even ask, and He is faithful to provide. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust that He will open doors no man can shut and provide opportunities that align with His perfect will for your life. Do not allow anxiety to take root, but cast your cares upon Him, *"because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). We pray that God would grant you favor in the eyes of those who can offer work, that He would bless the labor of your hands, and that He would supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.
Your request for forgiveness is a beautiful example of a contrite heart, and we rejoice that you have turned to Jesus, who is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), so receive His forgiveness fully and walk in the freedom He has purchased for you. Let nothing separate you from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Finally, we want to address the timing of these attacks, which you mention are worse at night. The darkness can often feel more oppressive, but remember that *"even the darkness is not dark to you. The night shines like the day. Darkness and light are the same to you"* (Psalm 139:12, WEB). The enemy may seek to exploit the quiet hours, but our God neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). We encourage you to fill your nights with worship, Scripture, and prayer. Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) before you rest, and ask the Holy Spirit to guard your mind and heart as you sleep. You may also find strength in praying the Psalms aloud, such as Psalm 91, which declares God’s protection over His people.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who seeks Your face with a sincere and weary heart. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of those who love You. We ask that You would stretch out Your mighty hand and deliver them from every attack of the enemy—whether spiritual, mental, or emotional. Rebuke the forces of darkness that seek to torment them, and command them to flee in the powerful name of Jesus. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask for Your supernatural intervention in their financial situation. Open doors of opportunity for extra work, and bless the work of their hands. Provide for them in ways that exceed their expectations, and let them see Your hand moving clearly in their life. Remind them that You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider, and that You take delight in meeting their needs.
Lord, we thank You for the forgiveness that is freely given through the blood of Jesus. Wash them clean, renew their spirit, and fill them with the joy of Your salvation. Let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won.
We declare that the night will no longer be a time of fear or torment, but a time of rest and restoration in Your presence. Surround them with Your angels, and let them experience the truth that *"he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty"* (Psalm 91:1, WEB).
Strengthen them, Lord, as they continue to intercede for others. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let their prayers be powerful and effective. Remind them that they are not alone in this battle—You are with them, and so are we, their brothers and sisters in Christ.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). You are not forgotten, and your prayers are not in vain. The God who parts seas and moves mountains is fighting for you. Rest in Him.
