We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your faithfulness and the many ways You sustain and protect us daily. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." We stand on this promise as we lift up this burden of spiritual attack and physical affliction.
Father, we rebuke every evil spirit that is attacking this dear one—right now, in the name of Jesus Christ. We command every demonic force to cease its harassment, pain, and disruption. Your Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist every scheme of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against this child of God will prosper, as You have promised in Isaiah 54:17.
Lord Jesus, we ask You to surround this beloved one with Your holy angels to guard and protect them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their heart and mind, driving out fear and torment. We pray for complete deliverance from every evil attack, whether it manifests in physical pain, spiritual oppression, or disruption in their home. We declare that the enemy has no authority here—only You, Lord, are sovereign.
We also lift up their finances and work situation. Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. We ask that You open doors of opportunity and grant favor with those who hire temps. Give them rest, both physically and spiritually, as You have commanded in Exodus 33:14, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Let them lie down in peace and rise up in strength, knowing You are their refuge.
Father, we acknowledge that sin can create openings for the enemy, and we thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We pray that this one would walk in repentance and holiness, drawing near to You so that You may draw near to them (James 4:8). Strengthen them to resist temptation and to stand firm in faith.
We also want to gently remind that our authority over the enemy comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, and His victory over sin and death that we have power over the forces of darkness. If there has been any reliance on anything other than Jesus—whether it be rituals, objects, or even personal strength—we encourage turning fully to Him alone. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
Lord, we pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit to empower and guide this one. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them always. We declare that the attacks of the enemy will not prevail, for You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
