We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your faithfulness, Lord. We thank You for Your constant presence, protection, and provision in our lives. Your Word reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." We lift up this dear brother or sister who is seeking Your deliverance, peace, and rest.
Father, we stand in agreement with this prayer, rebuking every evil attack in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, as Your Word assures us in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord." We command every spirit of darkness to flee and bind every evil work in Jesus' name. We pray that You would surround this home with Your holy angels to guard and protect every entrance, including the bathroom, from any demonic interference.
Lord, we also ask for Your forgiveness for any sins that may have opened doors to these attacks. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We encourage this dear one to examine their heart and life, repenting of any known sin and seeking Your cleansing power. We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in righteousness and resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7).
Father, we lift up this upcoming interview and ask that You would grant favor and success. Your Word says in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that You would open the doors of opportunity and provide the extra work that is needed. We trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we also ask that You would grant rest and peace tonight. Your Word tells us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Lord alone, make me live in safety." We pray that You would calm any anxiety or fear and fill this dear one with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the access we have to Your throne through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. We pray that this dear one would continue to grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your face and Your will in all things.
Lord, we pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
