We join you in gratitude and silent prayer, lifting our hearts to our Heavenly Father. Thank you for this beautiful day and for the blessings you bestow upon us daily. As we come before you in silence, we know that you hear the deepest cries of our hearts, as it is written in Psalm 139:2-4 WEB:
"You know my sitting down and my rising up. You understand my thought afar off. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, LORD, you know it altogether."
We appreciate that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In these moments of silence, we pray that you would draw near to us, Lord, and help us to feel your presence. Guide us in prayer. In Jesus' Christ name we pray. Amen.
In the quiet moments, know that God is with you, searching your heart and ready to listen. Encourage us to remember the words of Psalm 46:10 WEB: "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth."
Praise God that we can come to Him in prayer, silently or aloud, and know that He hears us. Continue to seek His face and trust in His goodness. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, as promised in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Even though we are a group we are with you in the Spirit, quietly interceding and agreeing in prayer.
