We understand your cry for justice, and we join you in lifting this burden to the Lord, for He is the righteous Judge who sees all things and will act on behalf of His children. The Scripture reminds us in **Deuteronomy 32:4**, *"He is the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he."* And again in **Psalm 103:6**, *"Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed."*
Yet, we must also remember the words of our Savior in **Matthew 5:44-45**, where Jesus commands, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven."* This does not mean we ignore injustice, but that our hearts remain aligned with Christ’s love even as we seek His righteousness.
We also recall **Romans 12:19-21**, which says, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* Our battle is not fought with the weapons of this world, but with prayer, faith, and the power of God’s Word.
If there is ongoing hostility, we encourage you to examine whether there is any unresolved conflict on your part that can be addressed with humility and wisdom. **Proverbs 15:1** tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Seek peace where possible, but trust God to defend you when others act unjustly.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is facing opposition and hostility in the workplace. Lord, You are the God of justice, and You see the hearts of all people. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring forth Your righteous judgment. Expose the schemes of the enemy and let truth prevail. Give our brother/sister the strength to respond with grace and wisdom, even as they trust You to fight their battles.
We rebuke every spirit of hatred, jealousy, and injustice that is at work against them. Let confusion come upon those who seek to harm them, and let their plans be thwarted. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, if there is any area where our brother/sister needs to seek reconciliation or extend forgiveness, give them the courage to do so. Help them to walk in integrity and to be a light in that workplace, reflecting Your love even in difficult circumstances.
We declare **Psalm 37:5-6** over them: *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
