Grandson to put God first!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Glory to the God who saves and restores joy. I bought my grandson Brayden who is 15 a Bible . I took a long time trying to get a Bible he would understand, but he hasn’t read it! Praying that he gets a revelation of who he is in Christ. Give him a thirst and hunger for righteousness for reading your word will Brayden with your presence your powerful Holy Spirit that change things. Help him to get out of his room off the Xbox and learn to live have friends enjoy his life go to a God fearing church! Praying that my daughter will understand it’s not healthy for a child to stay in his room all day and night.
I’ve prayed with him I’ve explained how he should be reading his Bible. Still it’s Gods will for him to be walk in righteousness! Bless him give wisdom to him as he starts his very first job he is 15 and teach him to be a leader not a follower of those who will only take him away from God. I know God is going to work it all out! Thanking Christ Jesus for all he’s done and will do in all Ephesians 3:20 our young people! Amen Jesus reigns on high!

What a beautiful heart you have for your grandson, ###, and your daughter! We join with you in lifting him up before the Lord, knowing that God’s Word does not return void and that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. You have already taken faithful steps by providing him with a Bible and praying over him—now we trust the Lord to open his eyes, soften his heart, and draw him into a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The enemy seeks to distract young people with empty pursuits—video games, isolation, and worldly influences—but we declare that ### will not be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). The Lord promises that when we seek Him first, all these things—joy, purpose, and godly friendships—will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). We pray that ### will hunger and thirst for righteousness, that he will find his identity in Christ alone, and that the Holy Spirit will stir within him an unquenchable desire for God’s Word. May he come to know that true life is found not in the fleeting pleasures of this world but in walking with Jesus.

We also lift up your daughter, asking the Lord to give her wisdom and discernment in parenting ###. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May she see the importance of setting boundaries that encourage ### to engage with the world in healthy, godly ways—attending a Bible-believing church, building Christ-centered friendships, and stepping into the responsibilities and blessings of adulthood. Pray that she will not grow weary in doing good, for in due season she will reap a harvest if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9).

As ### begins his first job, we ask the Lord to surround him with godly influences—mentors and friends who will point him to Christ rather than lead him astray. May he learn the value of hard work, integrity, and leadership, understanding that whatever he does, he is to do it as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23). We rebuke any spirit of laziness, distraction, or rebellion that would seek to hinder his growth in Christ. Instead, we declare that ### will rise up as a young man after God’s own heart, bold in his faith and unashamed of the Gospel.

Finally, we thank You, Father, for the promise of Ephesians 3:20—that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We stand on this truth for ###, believing that You will work mightily in his life. May he come to know Jesus not just as Savior but as Lord, surrendering every area of his life to Your will. And may your entire family be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, walking in unity and love as you seek Him together.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—
**Amen.**

We encourage you to continue speaking life and truth over ###, even when you don’t see immediate change. Keep praying with him, sharing Scripture, and modeling a vibrant faith. And remember, the battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12), so stay steadfast in prayer, knowing that our God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). ###’s story is not over—God is still writing it, and we believe for a mighty testimony of redemption and purpose in his life!

We've been praying for ### too, and we're so encouraged by your heart for him. We believe that God is already at work in his life, stirring a hunger for His Word. Let's continue to intercede for ###, asking God to give him a deep revelation of who He is and a passion for His presence. We declare that ### will not be conformed to the patterns of this world but will be transformed by the renewing of his mind in Christ Jesus (Romans 12:2).

Let's also pray for ###'s first job, that he would find godly mentors and friends who will encourage him in his faith. We ask that he would learn the value of hard work, integrity, and leadership, understanding that he is working for the Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:23-24).

And let's not forget to pray for your daughter, that she would have wisdom and discernment in parenting ###. We ask that she would be encouraged and strengthened as she guides him towards a God-fearing life.

We thank God for His promise in Ephesians 3:20, that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We stand on this promise for ###, believing that God will work mightily in his life.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting up your precious grandson ### before the Lord alongside you these past few days. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you, crying out to our Heavenly Father for this young man’s heart to be softened and his eyes to be opened to the truth of God’s Word.

We are praying with you that ### would not just *have* that Bible on his shelf, but that the Holy Spirit would stir in him a deep hunger—a thirst for righteousness that only Jesus can satisfy. May the Lord draw him out of isolation, away from distractions, and into fellowship with believers who will encourage him in his faith. We ask God to surround him with godly influences, to give him wisdom as he begins this first job, and to mold him into a leader who walks boldly in Christ.

We also lift up your daughter, asking the Lord to give her discernment and patience as she parents ###, and that He would unite your family in purpose to see him grow in the Lord.

If ### has already begun to show signs of a changed heart—whether it’s opening that Bible, seeking community, or stepping into his new job with confidence—we’d love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can glorify God together for His faithfulness.

But if this battle for ###’s soul still feels heavy, don’t lose heart. We are here to keep praying, to keep believing with you that God is at work, even when we can’t see it yet. Post an update, and we will continue to storm heaven’s gates on his behalf.

Our God is able to do *exceedingly abundantly* above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust Him to move powerfully in ###’s life. Keep pressing in, dear sister. We are with you, and most importantly, *Jesus* is with you. He reigns on high, and He hears every prayer.
