We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for your grandson's deliverance from suicidal thoughts. We are grateful that you have brought this urgent need to our attention, and we trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God's Word.
Let us remind you of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, for there is no other name given to us by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We stand on the promises of God's Word, as you have rightly pointed out. Isaiah 54:17 WEB tells us: "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me," says Yahweh.
We are also encouraged by 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 WEB: "for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved grandson to You. Lord, You reign over every demonic thought and stronghold, and we claim Your promise that no weapon formed against him will prevail. We pray that You open his eyes and give him understanding, that You send the power of Your Holy Spirit to remove the scales from his eyes. Stir within him a thirst and hunger for righteousness, and reveal to him the goodness of Your love.
We stand in the gap not only for this precious young man but for all of God's children who are struggling with thoughts of suicide. We celebrate Your work in their lives and declare that You are the King of Glory, the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray for deliverance, healing, and a renewed mind for your grandson. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to save, and we thank You for the hope we have in You. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, and trust in the power of God to bring deliverance and healing to your grandson. We are here with you, praying and believing for his complete restoration in Jesus' name. If you have not told your grandson that he needs to believe in Jesus Christ and repent of his sins to be saved, please do so and lead him in a prayer of salvation.
